Peih-Gee Law: Survivor 2015 Second Chance Cast Profile

Peih-Gee Law may not be one of those huge fan favorites from past seasons, but she certainly deserves her place as part of the Survivor Second Chance cast. She was most definitely an underdog on Survivor China, but she was a scrappy player who made it all the way to the final five by just never giving up.

Because of her familiarity with Chinese culture, Peih-Gee was put in an early leadership role on the Zhan Hu tribe, which didn’t sit well with some of her fellow cast mates. Still, she ended up as part of the majority alliance and this carried her through for quite a while. After the tribe merge, however, Peih-Gee soon found herself outnumbered as the last of the Zhan Hu tribe.

Hard fought wins in two vital immunity challenges saved Peih-Gee from getting voted out twice, but she just couldn’t avoid getting the boot forever. Even though she tried to convince her other castaways that she was much safer to keep than Todd Herzog, she was voted out in fifth place. Todd, of course, ended up going all the way and winning Survivor China.

For Survivor Cambodia Second Chance, Peih-Gee Law will be part of the Ta Keo (green) tribe, along with Jeff Varner, Kelley Wentworth, Kelly Wiglesworth, Abi-Maria Gomes, Shirin Oskooi, Spencer Bledsoe, Terry Deitz, Vytas Baskauskas, andWoo Hwang. (Full Survivor Second Chance cast list.)

Peih-Gee Law doesn’t have any fellow cast mates from her former season on Survivor Cambodia Second Chance. What she does have, however, is a new perspective on the game from her first time around.

For Survivor Cambodia, Peih-Gee said in pre-season interviews that she understands now how important making the right connections are among the other castaways. She’s also a big Survivor fan, and her knowledge of the game and the other returning veterans could prove helpful. Plus, she’s unlikely to be seen as a big threat early on, giving her a leg up in the game.

Peih-Gee Law told Entertainment Weekly that she thinks her “lack of a social game” on Survivor China is what really kept her from making it to the end. She said that she’s come to realize since her first time on the show that “making strong social bonds and friendships will get you much farther in the game” than just trying to play primarily through logic and strategy.

On Survivor 2015 Cambodia, Peih-Gee Law doesn’t want to come across like she did last time, as “bossy and too opinionated.” Instead, she plans to try to actually enjoy the experience more, make bonds with the other castaways, and “try to keep my mouth shut.”

Watch and see if Peih-Gee succeeds in keeping her lips zipped at the right times when Survivor Cambodia Second Chance debuts on September 23, 2015.
