After waiting all summer we got our first glimpse of what went down on this season of Survivor 2010: Nicaragua. Jeff wasted no time getting things underway by sending the castaways on the search for the new medallion of power. I’m personally not a fan of this new little twist they’ve come up with. I mean we already have the Hidden Immunity Idols to help someone out, do we really need the MOP? I think it’s totally unnecessary but we’ll see how it plays out.
My first impression of Marty wasn’t so great. I thought the comment he made about JJ was uncalled for. I mean he wants nothing to do with him and he’s glad to see him on the other tribe? He doesn’t even know him. Can we get a little more superficial? He did manage to grab a couple of brownie points from me there at the end towards tribal council when he didn’t take the bait from Jimmy T. who comes across as a real a$$ going off on JJ but not much.
Jud’s going to get bashed a lot by me so everyone needs to get ready for it. I mean this guy is a complete moron and comes across as really dumb. I’m not going to say he’s stupid because I don’t know yet but I can already tell he’s going to get on my last nerves. I can’t stand people like him and it’s usually girls who tend to be more that way but to see it on a guy? Oh my gosh, it’s so much worse. And they’re calling him Fabio? I think he takes it as a compliment and that’s so sad. He’s ridiculous and I’m shaking my head and taking a deep breath as I write this.
Now who did I like? Of course I love JJ. I loved him when he coached the Dallas Cowboys, hated him when he coached the University of Miami and love him as a commentator. He’s much more down to earth than I thought he was going to be and really comes across as a nice guy. I also liked Kelly B. I think it’s amazing she overcame such a huge obstacle in her life by losing her leg and not letting it get her down. I think she’ll be just as strong of a competitor as anyone else.
Didn’t see much of Wendy Jo but she was the first one booted off of Survivor Nicaragua as everyone thought she was the weakest link. Who stood out to you as a possible fav or most disliked?
