We’re about to find out who got voted off Survivor 2012 Philippines tonight. Can’t wait to see if Abi has finally worn out her welcome or if Dangrayne will continue to target bigger threats. Let’s find out.
Survivor wastes no time tonight and jumps right in to the luxury challenge with a reward of a spa visit with showers, massages, manicures, and then a huge meal. There were two teams. Red: Carter, Malcolm, Abi, and Pete. Yellow: Mike, Denise, Penner, and Lisa. The task is to flip three huge drums over and have all three of yours flipped before your opponent has the chance to flip any of them back over. It’s really just who is the fastest.
Carter versus Penner ends in a point for Carter (Red). Malcom versus Mike results in a point for Mike (Yellow) after Malcolm forgets to flip his opponent’s drum. Lisa and Abi face off with Abi flipping the wrong drum and gives Lisa (Yellow) another point. Pete goes against Denise and Pete earns a point for Red. Malcolm goes for a rematch against Mike and earns the point for Red after Mike flips the wrong one. Red Team heads off for a big afternoon of rest and relaxation.
Time for tonight’s Survivor immunity challenge. The set up requires a buoy to be untangled and dragged to the end of the first stage. The field narrows as the top competitors move on to the next stage and then the next. They need to get that buoy from one end out to the next.
Malcolm, Penner, Denise, Mike, and Carter finish the first part in the top 5 spots and move on to the next round. This part requires the players to remain on their balance beam while winding the buoy around it. Mike, Denise, and Carter move on to the third round. This time they’re out on the water working their buoy around a boat. After losing his lead to Mike Carter is able to get back in the challenge and wins Immunity. Someone is about to get voted off tonight but it won’t be Carter.
After an emotional Tribal Council where Abi finally discovers she is not well liked in the group the votes are revealed. Jeff offers the opportunity to use an immunity idol and only Abi accepts. Malcom holds on to his and it’s a huge gamble. There are several votes against Abi but those don’t count. Pete and Malcolm both rack up two votes before the final vote is revealed and Malcolm’s gamble pays off. Pete is voted off Survivor.
