Well this should come as no surprise. Jeff opens tonight’s Survivor 2013 preview with “the old Colton is back.” I think most questioned whether or not he every really went away after seeing him threatening to hit Kat with his oar after she quit rowing during the first Immunity challenge.
Of course CBS loves doing a little misdirection in these preview videos so while we might start thinking he could be in trouble of elimination I’m guessing that won’t be the case.
What will be the case is the first Redemption Island challenge. Rupert, Candice, and Marissa will face off in a three-way competition and one of them will be sent home while the other two remain for a new battle.
Each of the three castaways will have to guide a small spool through a maze and then stack them one at a time. First one to finish will receive a clue to a hidden Immunity Idol, but they won’t be able to keep it. Instead the winner will pick one castaway from either tribe and give them the clue.
