Last night on Survivor 2014 we saw Garrett Adelstein become the second castaway voted off Cagayan in a blindside despite having a Hidden Immunity Idol in his possession. In his “The Day After” exit interview Garrett still sounds a little bitter about the experience.
“I had virtually no fun. Whatsoever,” said Garrett Adelstein on his experience with Survivor Cagayan. Wow. What a poor sport. Then again, this guy was a complete recruit from a bar as he previously explained, so no wonder. He had no interest or understanding of Survivor and he played just as poorly.
So what happened with his Hidden Immunity Idol? Garrett says the risk of the Idol is underestimated. Garrett thinks he was watched too closely to bring it with him to the Tribal Council, but would have risked bringing it if he had any sense of danger. Of course with J’Tia dumping the tribe’s food supply he felt pretty confident in how the votes would go. Maybe he should have just kept his mouth shut at Tribal, huh?
