Shirin Oskooi was voted off Survivor Second Chance this week and it sounds like she might have needed a little more time to recover from her previous season.
She does acknowledge that she was better positioned this time around than she was the last time, but knows what went wrong.
“I had enough people liking me … I had a majority, Shirin says in her exit interview. I” got to pull of a huge blindside.”
But a couple of things went wrong when she realized that Jeff and Pei-ghee were not as with her as she thought, she says.
“I think I was still recovering (from last season),” she says “The fighter in me thought, I’ve got to fix this. I should have just let them take out Spencer or take out Abi. For whatever reason, in the moment, I didn’t just drop it.”
Shirin also thinks that Abi-Maria was not the best for her game.
“The other thing that was really hard for me is that Abi is an incredible emotional negative force,” she says. “And it wore on me. It brought out the emotional side of me that i’m usually really good at suppressing.”
Find out what else Shirin had to say in her Survivor 2015 “The Day After” interview below.
