Last night on Survivor we said goodbye to Joe, but it wasn’t by the fire of a Tribal Council elimination. Instead Joe became the third medevac of the Kaoh Rong season, a record for Survivor, but luckily he was able to recover and join the jury at Survivor Ponderosa.
First stop for Joe was a trip to the doctors where they had to relieve his bladder which lead to a good recovery for the 71-year old castaway. Once everything was better it was off to enjoy the good life at Ponderosa.
Everyone is there to welcome Joe with open arms and support. He has lost twenty pounds over the course of 34 days but gained a full beard for the first time in his life. The other jurors encourage him to keep the beard going as Jason jokes it’s the source of his power.
Joe doesn’t express remorse over his situation and is instead pleased with how well he did and how far he went in the season. It was simply his body telling him enough was enough, says Joe.
While in the game things weren’t always nice with the other castaways so Joe is sure to go back and smooth things over, especially with Jason. The rest of the castaways seem happy to have Joe around too as he entertains them with stories of his FBI days and what the world was like when it was flat. Okay, the latter part didn’t happen, but watch Joe’s Ponderosa video below to see his adventure.
