It was a double punch of eliminations last night on Survivor 2016 as we said goodbye to Will Wahl and Sunday Burquest as they said hello to Ponderosa and this season’s Survivor Jury.
Will’s elimination came just as he appeared to get a bit too big for his britches and making claims of control in the game. Well that’s a bad sign for any castaway with the way these edits go! Then for Sunday it came down to Hannah making the case for getting the goat out and keeping a spot for someone you may have seen playing the game this season.
Heading off to Ponderosa Will says he has no regrets. He made it 30+ days and is happy with the way he played the game. I’d have to agree that Will outperformed my expectations given his young age so kudos to him on that.
Arriving at the resort Will gets a big hug from Michelle and a Sprite from Zeke. (Will is only 18.) Everyone is big smiles for Will and he’s enjoying his arrival. Now we find out that the Jurors made up a game ahead of finding out who would be voted off that they’d come up with fake backstories as a joke. It’s a pretty good one and lighthearted.
Will notes his advantage from being fresh out of the high school drama to help him with the Survivor drama but says there was still no real way to prepare for how hard it was. He never thought he’d have the chance to play Survivor and is so happy that he accomplished this goal.
Will Wahl arrives at Ponderosa:
Now on to Sunday’s trip to Ponderosa as well…
