It was a double dose of eliminations for Survivor 2017’s Game Changers castaways on Wednesday night and the first player to fall was three-peat Andrea Boehlke. Now we’ve got her Ponderosa story to share.
Andrea felt more secure in her spot this past week after considering several of the other players like Cirie or Sarah to be bigger threats in the game. When the votes came out against her she was surprised, but left with a smile. That same sense of peace has carried over with her to the resort life.
Before going to the boat Andrea stops off with Dr. Joe and finds she’s lost about ten pounds even with winning every reward challenge she played in. Not a bad streak. Andrea also notes on her walk out that she reached her 100th day of Survivor but was sad that she left the game the same day this season as she did the last time she played.
Over at Ponderosa, Andrea is welcomed warmly though she was worried some might be unhappy to see her. They gather for dinner and chat about the game but Andrea tells us that while it’s nice to discuss the game she doesn’t want to let it overtake her.
Andrea discusses how hard it is to go back to regular life after an adventure like Survivor. It’s tough to compare your ordinary day after traveling the world and performing wild challenges. She thinks she can be content with being happy, even if life isn’t quite as satisfying as Survivor living.
