Last night on Survivor 2018 we saw two people head off to jury. Alec was the first one out during the two-hour episode and he was followed by Carl. Below we’ve got a photo gallery and Carl’s Ponderosa video for you.
Carl might have seemed to be anything but humble during this week’s Survivor David vs. Goliath episode, but he sees things a little differently.
“I didn’t think I would make it this long,” Carl says. “For me I never got too cocky… I knew that in this game anything can happen. Ultimately I’m ok with everything that took place.”
Carl says he’s most disappointed that he missed out on the loved ones episode. He said the day he was voted out he woke up and just felt like his wife was nearby. And he was right. She was there for the loved ones episode that we’ll see next week. Luckily for Carl they didn’t let his wife waste her visit. He got to see her and you can see that during the video. We also get to see Alec reunite with his mom.
There is one thing that Carl is very proud of and that’s how he played the idol nullifier correctly. He says that was historic and he hopes he’s remembered for being the first to use the power. Speaking of which, he does apologize to Dan for doing nullifying his idol.
Carl ends his video with some pats on the back.
“When you help people from out of the goodness of your heart, and nog expecting anything in return good things are bound to happen for you,” he says. “And I’ve always done that in my life, so being able to have this opportunity on Survivor was one of the he paybacks in a sense for being the person I’ve been so far in my life.”
