Congratulations to Survivor, Jeff Probst, and everyone behind the series. CBS has officially renewed the long running reality TV series for two more seasons beyond the upcoming spring season taking the search for the next Sole Survivor in to 2014 and 2015. Amazing!
CBS Entertainment’s president Nina Tassler announced the renewal, saying:
“We are thrilled to announce this landmark renewal for SURVIVOR, a groundbreaking show that changed the TV landscape and helped usher in a new era of ratings dominance for the Network. SURVIVOR continues to set the bar for outstanding production values, compelling storytelling while delivering fresh new adventures every season.
The show’s enduring success is a testament to the creativity and passion of Mark Burnett and Jeff Probst, and an amazing production team. We’re proud to continue this incredible journey together.”
It’s great to see CBS continued commitment to Survivor. We love covering it here at Survivor Fandom and enjoying it with other fans. As long as CBS keeps offering it up we’ll be sure to keep watching.
