Tonight on Survivor South Pacific we saw Ozzy, Keith, and Jim face off at Redemption Island and sure enough, just like the spoilers said, Ozzy bested his competitors. Ozzy will remain in the game while Jim became the first jury member and Keith became the second.
In an attempt to shift the balance of Upolu, Albert approached Sophie, the winner of this week’s immunity idol, to change sides and keep the remaining Savaii in the game. It didn’t work. Dawn was eliminated.
After Dawn’s elimination, Jeff Probst threw the castaways a curveball and announced they’d immediately go to the next immunity challenge and then vote right away for the second elimination of the night.
During the second immunity challenge, where the castaways used a cube for multiple choice answers, the battle came down to Whitney and Sophie. Sophie won for the second time of the day when Whitney answered that giant clams were dangerous. Seriously, Whitney? Sheesh.
When Jeff counted the second round of votes, no surprise here, Whitney was eliminated and sent to Redemption Island. That means, for the second time this season, we’re getting exactly what Probst promised pre-season would not happened: three-person “duel.”
Next week should be another exciting episode of Survivor South Pacific!
