One more castaway left Survivor last night just one round short of the season finale for Kaoh Rong as the last five battled it out for Immunity after Tai’s move at Tribal Council may have put Dara on edge.
Tai can’t feel too secure in his footing after the rest of the group didn’t show up for his vote-off-Michele party, but at least we got to see his advantage in use despite its wasted opportunity. Time to find out if retribution cut him from the game.
Don’t forget you can watch Survivor on CBS All Access with either the Live TV streaming or catch the full episodes later in the archives. Read on to find out who got voted off Survivor this week during Kaoh Rong! This week *only*, use promo code CATCHUP for a one free month trial.
It’d be surprising to see anyone too anxious to team up with Tai after his repeated backstabbings, but if he’s got the power then sometimes you’ve got to play the game too.
Reward Challenge:
Castaways are playing for the reward of a trip out of the camp for a night of rest with this week’s comp “5×5” that sends them out into the jungle to collect bags of sandbags to toss in five holes. Production worked to make this one tougher than the Dream Team faced after it was deemed too easy so this should keep the castaways busy for a bit.
Cydney and Aubry are leading on the running portion with quick retrieval of their sandbags but it’s Aubry leading the charge on landing the bags in their targets. She’s only two away from the win as Cydney is just a bit behind. Aubry runs out of bags!
When you’re out of bags you have to stand around and wait for everyone to run out before you can replenish. That explains why we have a pic of all standing there waiting while Joe trots in the background.
It comes down to Joe as the rest of the castaways wait on him. He has five bags and three targets to hit… Joe wins Reward! Wow. That was a great comeback. Now he gets to pick one person to join him and he goes with Aubry but wait, there’s more. Joe lets Aubry pick the other person and she goes with Cydney.
Medical:
Well, Joe might have done himself in. He ate 8 servings of beef and now he can’t urinate and is constipated. Medical pays him a visit but doesn’t pull him yet. Considering we’re running low on time we may be working towards a medevac. Also considering there were no immunity challenge preview pics this week suggests that comp might not have happened…
Yep, here goes Joe. Medical is pulling him from the game. Since he can’t urinate it could pass up in to his kidneys and cause longterm damage. Well that stinks. Hell of a survivor at any age much less 71.
Jeff says this is the most medevacs ever in one season with three events.
Immunity Challenge:
No competition this week since Joe is being removed from Survivor Kaoh Rong.
Tribal Council:
No Tribal event either this week. CBS’s promo that had Jeff telling the castaways about “just when you feel safe” was from the campsite after Joe’s medevac. No one was voted off this week.
