Survivor Results: Who Won Survivor 2017 Game Changers?

After a season of returning players given the bold label of “Game Changers” we’re anxious to discover which of them will have done enough to correct past mistakes and win over their jury of Ponderosa peers in tonight’s three hour Survivor season finale.

Before we get to the biggest Tribal Council of the season we need to work through another few eliminations and that means it’s nearly challenge time. Along with the action in the challenges we’ve got plenty of drama with the fallout from last week’s TC blow up when Cirie failed to comprehend the fine print. Time to see how all of that works out for her but I’m guessing it won’t be pretty.

Survivor 2017 Finale: Immunity Challenge – Round 1

The first competition of the night will send the final six castaways through a giant maze to collect pieces to assemble in a puzzle. First to finish not only wins a set in the F5 but also gets a big ol’ meal to refuel before the next round of battle.

Everyone is on the move and the guys are leading with all three collecting and dropping off their first bag before the ladies, but they aren’t far behind.

Brad is back first but then Aubry, Cirie, and Troyzan quickly arrive behind him to start working on the puzzle. There are more than 40 pieces here. Now we’ve got Tai and Sarah joining them as everyone is struggling here. It definitely doesn’t look easy.

Brad and Sarah are leading the pack, but it’s close, really close… and then it’s not.

Brad wins Immunity!

He’s got a seat in the F5 and food is on the way. Jeff lets him pick two castaways to join him. Brad picks Troyzan then Sarah for the reward food.

Survivor 2017 Finale: Tribal Council – Round 1

Someone is about to get voted off and this ride could get bumpy! Heading in here we’ve got Brad holding Immunity, Sarah with the Secret Advantage, Troyzan with a Hidden Idol, and Tai with TWO Idols. Brad has been pushing hard to get one of Tai’s Idols to make sure they have more control over the vote. If all 5 play then that’d be your “historic” TC as CBS has hyped.

Before we get the votes Tai decides to play an Idol on his behalf… and another Idol on Aubry’s behalf. Oh here’s Sarah’s Advantage so she’s safe. And not to be left out, Troyzan plays his Idol. That leaves Cirie… Oops.

Jeff reveals the votes: Jeff announces there’s no point in revealing the votes as there is no other choice. He also admits there are no votes against Cirie in the vote bucket, but since all the rest are protected that means she’s the de facto victim of tonight’s first Tribal Council.

We do get to see that there were 3 votes against Sarah, 2 against Tai, and 1 against Aubry. Sarah was lucky to have had that Advantage!

Survivor 2017 Finale: Immunity Challenge – Round 2

Oh this is a tough one, as if the last one wasn’t. The F5 have to work a small ball along a series of paths and iron workings using paddles trapped in rings. Castaways are struggling hard here but it’s yet again Brad who is dominating as he has two done before anyone else has even one…. make that all three. Amazing.

Brad wins Immunity!

My goodness, my goodness. This man is a machine! He finishes all three balls before anyone is even close to having one.

Survivor 2017 Finale: Tribal Council – Round 2

Now we’ve got Aubry fighting to stay by pitching to Tai and Sarah that they need to get Troyzan out so Brad can’t drag him to F3. Sarah and Tai decide to vote out Aubry, but then Tai doesn’t like Brad’s aggressive attitude so he flips back to voting out Troyzan.

Jeff reveals the votes: Aubry, Troyzan, Aubry, Aubry

Aubry was voted off Survivor!

The night isn’t over yet and we’ve got four castaways left in the game. Continue on to find out the night’s big results…

Now we’re on to the second half of tonight’s Survivor 2017 finale and we’re down to the F4, but there’s another elimination to go before we get to the last Tribal Council of the season.

Survivor 2017 Finale: Immunity Challenge – Final Round

Here we go for the last time of Game Changers with Immunity back up for grabs. The castaways will race to collect puzzle pieces and build a lighthouse.

Brad leads, of course, but Sarah is right behind him. Soon Tai then Troyzan are off on the hunt as well. Now Sarah is leading strong as Brad falls behind after bad luck guessing at which keys to unlock the bags.

Sarah continues to lead with Troyzan, Brad, and Tai lag behind her. Sarah is off to get her third and final bag of pieces. But of course these puzzles can be the great equalizer.

Brad took the lead to the last challenge right at the puzzle phase but all soon caught up to assembling their lighthouse. It’s now between Brad and Tai… Brad just needs to figure out the combo to get the cap to the lighthouse…

Brad wins Immunity!

He has a spot to stand before the Jury for the final decision of the season. Amazing. We hear from Brad that he wants Tai gone for betraying his demands. Time to find out…

Survivor 2017 Finale: Tribal Council – Round 3

Brad and Troyzan want to vote out Tai. Tai is trying to convince Sarah to vote with him against Troyzan to force a tie and give them a make-fire showdown. Then both Sarah and Tai could get to the F3. That would require Sarah to gamble with her own easy path to F3. No way, right?

Jeff reveals the votes: Tai, Troyzan, Tai, Tai

Tai was voted off Survivor!

Our Final 3 of Game Changers: Brad, Sarah, and Troyzan. Who will win? Who deserves it the most?

Survivor 2017 Finale: Final Tribal Council

Jeff says they’re going to change things up this season and force the talks to address the three tenets of Survivor: Outwit, Outplay, and Outlast. Jeff wants them to shore up their game against those principles. Interesting.

Jeff reads the final votes: Sarah, Brad, Sarah, Brad, Brad, Sarah, Sarah, Sarah, Sarah

Sarah Lacina wins Survivor Game Changers!

During the reunion show Jeff plays the what-if game with Brad flipping to keeping Tai instead of Sarah. Sarah admits she would have voted for Tai as do 4 of the other Jurors. Brad would have had the other 5 votes. A tie. Jeff explains that in this case they would have sent Troyzan to the Jury where he confirms that he would have voted for Brad to win. Very interesting to hear how they’d resolve a tie in the finale.
