Survivor Second Chance cast member Vytas Baskauskas placed 1oth in his previous run on the series, but hopes going solo this time around will make it easier for him to take the win. Not that he didn’t love playing the game with brother Aras Baskauskas on Survivor Blood vs Water, but he also felt like having to worry about watching Aras’ back as well as his own hurt his game.

On Survivor Blood vs Water, Vytas managed to swiftly find his way into a strong alliance with the other males of the Tadhana tribe. Then, in a total switch after the tribe swap, he was the only guy in a tribe of women. Somehow he managed to keep them from ousting him, with two of the ladies getting voted out instead before the tribal merge. Vytas’ brother Aras also survived until the merge, but the two of them ended up as fast targets for the remaining players and were voted out in consecutive weeks.
For Survivor Cambodia Second Chance, Vytas Baskauskas will be part of the Ta Keo (green) tribe, along with Jeff Varner, Kelley Wentworth, Kelly Wiglesworth, Peih-Gee Law, Shirin Oskooi, Spencer Bledsoe, Terry Deitz, Abi-Maria Gomes, and Woo Hwang. (Full Survivor Second Chance cast list.)
Back in the real world, Vytas is a yoga instructor (apparently a Survivor favorite profession) and he’s still in rocking physical shape. So he could very well be a strong competitor in challenges this season. However, his relationship to Survivor Panama winner Aras could be a strike against him, as could his own personal game play history on Survivor Blood vs Water.

Vytas wasn’t afraid to use his past drug addiction history as a game tool to make people feel sympathetic toward him on Survivor Blood vs Water. However, a lot of the other castaways will already know all about that, and it probably won’t get him so far this time around. His connection with fellow Blood vs Water cast mate Ciera Eastin could also make the target on his back bigger if the other castaways fear they might eventually team up.
