Last week on the premiere Survivor David vs. Goliath, we saw the David tribe lose a member after Pat hurt is back. Pat’s exit canceled the first Tribal Council so that means we are only down to 19 castaways coming into this Wednesday’s new episode.
So let’s take a look at who is left and what we’ve gathered, if anything, about the remaining castaways.
David Tribe
Christian Hubicki. We saw a lot from Christian, and we are going to see a lot more apparently as he seems to appoint himself leader of the tribe in this week’s episode.
Nick Wilson. Nick was also among the most visible, so much so that he was likely going to be the target had Pat not been removed from the game.
Carl Boudreaux. We haven’t seen much from Carl yet, but he didn’t do a very good job in the challenge. Had he not flopped at digging in the sand, they might have won the challenge.
Jessica Peet. We didn’t get much from Jessica either, but she seems to be ready to cause some trouble this week.
Davie Rickenbacker. Another quiet one, so we should get to know him better in the coming weeks.
Elizabeth Olson. The cowgirl was hard to miss in the cowboy hat. She seemed to focus on relationships right away, so that should be helpful for her.
Gabby Pascuzzi. She wasn’t as standout in the first episode, but she’s got a strength to her it seems. Hopefully we see more of her this week.
Lyrsa Torres. Lyrsa helped Christian win the reward challenge at the very beginning of the episode and it looks like the tribe starts focusing on targeting her this week.
Bi Nguyen. Bi seems to be an early fan favorite, so it’ll be interesting to see how her story plays out.
Pat Cusack
Goliath Tribe
John Hennigan. The former pro wrestler was going to stand out no matter what. He competed in the first challenged for the Goliath’s but couldn’t pull out the win. He’s going to be a benefit to the tribe, but will be a target as soon as they don’t need him.
Alec Merlino. Alex appeared to pull his weight in episode one, but he doesn’t seem to be much of a character. I don’t think we’ll get a lot out of him other than maybe some challenge wins.
Jeremy Crawford. Jeremy wasn’t much of a focus, but he seems like he’s a strong contender. I think after a few of the bigger personalities are out of the way he could emerge as a contender.
Dan Rengering. I think Dan might be a little too focused on getting a girlfriend and talking about his past, but I think that will put him at the center of a lot of story arcs this season.
Mike White. Mike looks like a David but acts like a Goliath. What an interesting mix. I could see him being an early target as they know he has already competed on The Amazing Race.
Natalia Azoqa. I am not even sure who she is. She might have been the least visible person from the whole episode.
Angelina Keeley. Right away she put off mean girl vibes, saying things about and reacting to the David tribe in really unnecessary ways. She’s going to be fun to root against.
Kara Kay. I think Kara is going to break a couple of hearts this season. I’m looking at you, Dan.
Alison Raybould. She seemed pretty confident when she was chosen along with John to compete in the first challenge, but she couldn’t help him pull out the win.
Natalie Cole. Natalie is definitely one of the standouts. But that might be to her detriment. She’s a CEO in real life, so she’s coming off as very bossy and it’s not really going over well with her tribemates. And as we saw in this week’s preview, she’s going to be a big focus this week also.
What do you think of the Survivor 37 cast? Who do you think will go far and who do you think will fall short?
