We are heading into the sixth week of Survivor 2019 and the players (well most of them) survived last week’s tribe sway. 15 castaways remain to fight for the grand prize and title of Survivor Island of the Idols sole survivor.
Let’s take a look at who remains in Survivor 39.
Vokai Tribe
Lauren Beck. It’s no surprise Lauren is still in the game. She’s been instrumental week after week.
Elizabeth Beisel. Elizabeth is lying low, so that’s how she’s not been a target yet.
Missy Bird. Like Lauren, Missy has been playing such a good game, it’s not shock she’s still around.
Jason Linden. Jason went from being on the bottom, to playing a big role in his last tribe. It looks like he’s going to show his worth in the new one as well.
Aaron Meredith. Like Jason, Aaron was in a bit of a bind, but has proven he needs to be kept around until the merge at least.
Tommy Sheehan. Tommy’s social game has been so solid, he’s never been looked at as an actual target (yet).
Dan Spilo. Dan is playing a pretty sold behind-the-scenes game, so that has helped earn his spot heading into week 6.
Elaine Stott. We saw a lot of Elaine week one, but then she kind of faded into the background until last week. It seems her social game is still solid, which is why she hasn’t been on anyone’s radar since week one.
Lairo Tribe
Janet Carbon. Janet has proven her worth and then she hid in the shadows. I’m not sure how much time she has left in the game, but she’s made the most of it so far.
Kellee Kim. Kellee remains one of the stronger players, and her hidden immunity idol could help her hold on to her spot in the game longer.
Dean Kowalski. Dean hasn’t been great at challenges, but he still fits the part of alpha male comp beast, so I’m guessing that’s why he hasn’t been voted out already.
Jack Nitching. Jack is one of those that have learned to play in the background, which has definitely helped his position in the game.
Karishma Patel. I have no idea how she is still around. She should have been cut over someone who is better in competitions.
Noura Salman. I thought Noura was pretty worthless to her tribe, but she had one of the best showings in the reward challenge last week.
Jamal Shipman. Jamal is pretty much a lone wolf and does what he wants. I was mistaking it as cockiness for a bit, but I think it’s more like he just wants to play his own game.
What do you think of the remaining 15 Survivor 2019 castaways?
