Survivor Cagayan Starts Wednesday, February 26, 2014

Survivor starts this week and with so many seasons it’s easy for a new round to sneak up on us so don’t miss the action! If you don’t catch the premiere of Season 28 then you’ll be two episodes behind thanks to CBS doubling up the first round for 2014.

Survivor 2014 Brawn Brains Beauty

There’s a lot to get caught up on if you’re just getting around to our preseason coverage so let’s run through all the details including Cagayan’s twists, the Survivor 2014 cast, and what Jeff thinks of the castaways for Season 28.

Survivor 2014 Twist:

This season there will be three tribes with six castaways each. They’re split by three basic attributes: Brawn – Aparri, Brains – Luzon, & Beauty – Solana.

As for twists that won’t be part of this season: Redemption Island. That’s right, the arena will not be on Survivor Cagayan. Once you’re voted out you are done and gone or off to Ponderosa. Phew.

Survivor 2014 Cast:

The eighteen castaways are all-new. No returning players. Another “phew.” Here’s the rundown on the Survivor 2014 cast details:

The members of Aparri (Brawn) include Cliff Robinson, a 46 year old former NBA player, Lindsey Ogle, a 29 year old hairstylist, Sarah Lacina, a 29 year old police officer, Tony Vlachos, a 39 year old police officer, Trish Hegarty, a 48 year old pilates trainer, and Yung Woo Hwang, a 29 year old martial arts instructor.

The members of Luzon (Brains) include David Samson, 45 year old executive, Garrett Adelstein, 27 year old poker player, J’Tia Taylor, a 31 year old nuclear engineer, Kassandra “Kass” McQuillen, a 41 year old attorney, Latasha “Tasha” Fox, 37 year old accountant, and Spencer Bledsoe, a 21 year old student.

The members of Solana (Beauty) Alexis Maxwell a 21-year old student, Brice Johnston a 27-year old socialite, Jefra Bland 22-year old pageant queen, Jeremiah Wood a 34-year old model, LJ McKanas a 34-year old horse trainer, and Morgan McLeod a 21-year old student.
