Survivor Samoa: Penultimate Episode Tonight 8/7C
Well guys we are almost to the end of our journey in Samoa and what an awesome 39 days it has been. Tonight we will find out if Mick and Nat turn on Russell and force him to use his idol or if he will once again manipulate his way straight to the finale. It is gearing up to be one of the most memorable episodes of the season as we will say goodbye to one of our outspoken players who shouldn’t go down without a fight. I hope you all will join us here before and after the show as we break it all down and discuss the possibilities of what will happen on this show as well as the next.

Yes Ashley it has been an awesome 39 days thanks to Russell. Hope Shambo does put up a fight on her way out to give us some entertainment. I like Shambo even though at times she got on my nerves with her knowitall attitude.
CAT wishing you a speedy recovery and hope you dont have to spend Christmas in the hospital.

Hey blackgirl! Thank goodness for all the Russell’s on the reality shows this year. If not for them what would we have had to talk about?

Good morning folks.. I think this has been the sh***est week of TV ever.. I’ve mostly been watching old episodes of other TV shows and Howard TV on-demand!! Can’t WAIT for tonight!!

Good morning, all! Very busy day yesterday but our school Christmas concert went very well. Lots of happy parents and kids … always a good thing. One more day and I’m off until Jan 4th!
I can’t wait for this evening! I just want to say that my enjoyment of Survivor has been increased by the interaction with all you lovely people. Thank you, and especially to Ashley for maintaining such a great blog.
Cat, I’m sorry to hear you’re in hospital. I hope you feel better soon. June, you too, sweetie. I wouldn’t wish H1N1 on my worst enemy.

blackgirl, I agree about Shambo. She may be a pain in the ass at times, but she sure is entertaining. I will miss the chicken whisperer and her mullet. Her itch, not so much.

#4 Cooper – my daughter’s Facebook page from last night said “41 hours and counting until break”. Which goes to show teachers enjoy holiday break as much, if not more than the students!

Coop u make all moms proud! The guys here are so awesome. We have u coop our your educator who loves kids and family. You have a special gift sweetie thanks for all you do for kids. Then we have scotty another family man who i so sweet and caring. Then ac….. Ive always loved an intelligent man who can speak on any topic. You keep my brain busy and i rarely have one of those idol nannyseconds of boredom. And my jeffie poo/boo.youre the sweetest most compassionate man. Yall dont change for any woman youre perfect just they way u are.

Ac i just had a flashback…instead of a hot flash. You said wks ago what bruss handed off his idol to someone. I ?d it but what if its shambo he saves? Oooo what if he hands it off to her and then he meets his own demise. Oh boy would that be funny. I actually hope he wins but karma would bite his bum if that happened.

Looks like Jeff and Jordan are out on The Amazing Race 16. I dont know but I would bet tonight will be a Shambo love fest. Maybe all the players are just honest with her so she does not leave blindsided like the others have.

Just watching the weather here. Im supposed to get snow TOMORROW! Im like the kids snowday haha. I work out of town so i wont be going to work if it does i’ll be turning my recliner backwards facing my picture window watching it fall. And they are calling for it on the 23Rd too. Yeah i know i know thats a long way away but the promise of snow is enough for me

Well, peeps, tonight will be the beginning of the end of Survivor: RussHell Island. It’s been an unusual season for me. Although RussHell has certainly flexed his muscle and shown people he is a true gamer, there has not been one castaway that I have felt cheer-worthy. Every season since Season 1, I have found one player to cheer on to victory (well, mostly to defeat – yes, shoot me, I was caught up in the “Coach” Karma).
This show has changed so much over the years. In the beginning, the driving force in the game was the player who could find food for his/her fellow castaways. That doesn’t seem to be a factor any longer. Maybe there really is a food cart off camera. But, although the strategy of the game has changed, it’s still my favorite reality addiction.
I will tell you that my attachment to and enjoyment of the show this season has only been enhanced by sharing it with all of you wonderful peeps!

seriously, my dads mom had Moroccan roots and she was a gentle loving lady, but she really put my mom through the ringer when my dad brought my mom to meet his parents, for myself, i see violent and angry people daily and have seen them act out all my life, as Mister T born Laurence Tureaud would say: pity the fool, what a sad life they have, angry people, and if you have an angry parent as some of the people i have known and loved did, you realize what a horrible burden this self destructive behavior can be, yes they often get rich, as silly and ancient a ritual when many primitive tribes originated this idea GIVE THE ANGRY MAN ALL YOUR POSSESSIONS and humble him by your kindness and compassion, it USED TO work, at least some times, the angry man would actually weep sincerely and give everyone back their stuff, in modern culture our primitive emotions still haunt us, and there seems to be no ancient rituals that work as well as they originally did 
being on seven movie sets with stars and not so starry people is a wonderful adventure, you get the feeling that the family of man and woman and gender ambiguous humans can actually recover the ancient compassion and affection for each other

June- Yesterday 26 year old Chris Brown, in a domestic dispute with his fiance’ Loleina Tonga, jumped into the back of a pick up truck as she took off. He fell out of the truck in a curvy stretch of road and died from his injuries today. He was on injured reserve from the Bengals after breaking his left forearm last month in a win against Baltimore. He was in a cast which would have made it more difficult to hold on. His fiance didn’t flee the scene so I don’t know if she will be charged or not. They have three kids, not sure if they are hers or his.

Jeanne – you are a Coach fan? If you are then you are really gonna hate Russell next season! Sorry about Chris Henry – my hubby – our kids – and myself are huge sports fans and that was sad to hear. We have a very good friend – J.B. – who is an avid Bengals fan and I know he is sad today. Prayers dont take long to send up.

@#39 CAT..I’m so glad ur ok. As you’ve read some of us got’I don’t know’? All I know is we got to get Cooper’s mother to make us all some ‘Chicken soup’!!My youngest went to fla.,left her white long-haired cat witha tiny blk spot on her forehead. Tried to get it on a airline and they wanted 189.oo ..IF anyone can explain this to me ..please. I took a sm.pup in 70’s and if he fit under my seat [and did] it was ok and free.I did have to hold him in flite cause he yelped, but no one complained. In fact one[only 1] lady tried to take him home. He was sweet,a protecto dog and his nam was ‘DAMET”.

Hi mama d!! No website – I have just been visiting a few message boards this season. My hubby used to run a reality tv website but swapped over and runs a reality tv newsgroup at MSN for webtv users only. He still has the site and has talked a little about maybe doing it again for 20 but I dunno yet. I kinda – sorta – hope he doesnt. Nice to meet ya!
