Ciera Eastin is one Survivor 2015 Second Chance cast member we’ll be keeping a close eye on this season. She was a woman willing to do whatever it took to win on Survivor: Blood vs. Water, and we’re hoping she’ll be just as fierce a competitor this time around as she was on that season.

During her time on Survivor: Blood vs. Water, Ciera Morett-Eastin earned fame as being the only competitor to vote out their own loved one. She also flipped her vote on the majority alliance, resulting in only the second tiebreaker ever on the series.
On Survivor 2015 Second Chance, Ciera Eastin will be part of the Bayon Tribe (pink/magenta), along with Joe Anglim, Andrew Savage, Jeremy Collins, Kass McQuillen, Keith Nale, Kimmi Kappenberg, Monica Padilla, Stephen Fishbach, and Tasha Fox. (Full Survivor Second Chance cast list.)
Ciera may not have been great in challenges on Survivor Blood vs. Water, but she still ended up as the last woman in a tribe of men, and made it all the way to 5th place — and was voted out because she was considered too much of a threat.
Although Ciera may have started out in the game slow last time, by the time she was voted out, she’d become a dangerous competitor the other castaways knew they had to get rid of. If she’d been a little more careful about her choices later in the game, she might well have won it all.

Ciera is one tough woman in the real world as well as on Survivor. Pregnant at 17, she is very proud that she “finished high school, worked three jobs to support my daughter, and now I am happily married with two beautiful children,” according to her CBS Blood vs. Water profile.
On Survivor Blood vs. Water, Ciera Eastin had her mom, series veteran Laura Morett, to help her get a leg up in the game. This time, she’ll be facing the new season of Survivor Cambodia Second Chance older and wiser, but without her mom as a support system.
Ciera feels truly “blessed” that she has gotten to play Survivor not just once, but twice. She told Entertainment Weekly that she “learned so much about myself, and I grew so much as a person” her first time around. She feels that she lost out lost time because she “found my stride too late into the game.”
This time around, Ciera said, she hopes to find a core alliance that she can really stick with. “‘You can’t trust anybody, but you have to trust somebody,’ really rings true to me.”
We’ll find out if Ciera can click with the right alliance when Survivor Cambodia Second Chance debuts on September 23, 2015.
