Mike Holloway joins the Survivor 2015 cast as part of the Escameca Tribe. The 38-year-old oil driller from Texas joins the other blue collar castaways in the Survivor Worlds Apart season.
And even though Mike seems to be very up front and matter of fact, he does lose points with me by admitting he might force himself into a villain role just for the fun of it.
“I’m not here to find love or be best friends with anyone,” Mike said in his Survivor Worlds Apart interview below. “I’m here to play a cut throat game. I don’t know if I’m going to be the villain or the nice guy. At home I’m the nice guy but I have an itch to be a villain.”
Mike Holloway says he’s also willing to manipulate and take advantage of people if that’s what it takes.
“I check my life at the door,” Mike says. “I think that’s how it has to be. If a girl wants to be sweet on me, then that’s fine. I will use that against her.”
And if the whole villain thing doesn’t work out, Mike has another idea, at the opposite end of the spectrum, thought out.
“The mark I think that I want to leave is that just your regular old dumb country boy can come out here and win this thing.”
Something tells me Mike won’t be leaving much of a mark on the Survivor 2015 game. Maybe I’m wrong, though.
