Survivor 2011 Redemption Island Episode 6 Results Recap

Tonight was the night for continued domination on every level of Survivor 2011 Redemption Island. Winners remained winners while the losers stayed losers.

Matt faced yet another competitor on Redemption Island when Krista arrived following her elimination last week. After a quick dash at the start Krista took an early lead. When it came to close out the duel Matt did what he does best, “winning, duh.” (Are Charlie Sheen jokes too worn out already?) Krista was officially eliminated from this season of Survivor while Matt will wait around for his next battle.

Before the next challenge Stephanie did her best to work Zapatera to get back in their good graces while throwing Sarita under the bus. The tribe seems open to the idea, or at least they don’t seem to care too much for Sarita.

When it came time for the Immunity Challenge Ometepe dominated once again. The challenge was to be the first team to catch 5 slingshot balls. While Zapatera focused on tripping other players, falling down, and mostly missing every shot it was Ometepe who kept their eyes on the ball and came away with the win. Well, really it was Grant who caught 4 of the 5 while Rob picked up one other ball. Another losing round for Zapatera.

Tribal Council brought one heck of a close vote. Torn between whether to get out the dissenter or the weakest, Zapatera ended up with a 2-4 vote. Stephanie came out on the losing end of that equation while Sarita was sent back with her Tribe.

Did the right castaway get sent to Redemption Island? Will Matt be able to keep his streak alive against Stephanie? Whatcha think?
