Drew Christy followed the brilliant and always successful Survivor strategy of throwing a competition in a solo decision and then trying to steamroll his tribe in to following his eviction will. Shockingly it didn’t go so well.
In this week’s “The Day After” interview Drew tells us about how much his experience has made him appreciate the modern comforts of life from lights and lighters. Overall though he admits he’s disappointed in how things went and thought he was the best player out there.
Drew says his hope had been to make it to the Merge with his brother Alec and then have the numbers on the side of the couples/pairs so they could pick off the solo players.
He suggests he should have played a more low key game and then teamed up with the most social player, Kelley. Maybe we’re just not getting to see too much, but I’m surprised he keeps ranking Kelley so high in the Hunahpu tribe. We’ll have to keep watching to see how she pans out.
