Jeff Probst confirmed the rumors tonight. Next season will be Survivor Blood Vs Water again for Season 29 in San Juan Del Sur. Thankfully it’ll be an all-new cast for the next 2014 season!
Tonight on the Survivor finale we expect host Jeff Probst to confirm the spoilers reported that the next go around, Season 29, will bring in new castaways with the familiar twist of playing family vs alliances.
The twist last year made for great fun, but I’m really over the retreads showing up on Survivor so this is a welcome change. It could also mean we’ll see Redemption Island again which is a downer, but I guess you can’t win them all.
Update: Yes, Redemption Island will return, but Jeff promises a few twists on it.
As for the following season, Season 30, that’s supposed to be back to yet another all-stars with Survivor: Legends. Nuts.
