Survivor 2015’s Monica Padilla’s second chance ended Wednesday night when her fellow Bayon tribemates blindsided her during a surprising Tribal Council. In her Day After interview, Monica addressed the blindside and how her game was different this time around.
“I definitely came back a different person,” Monica said. “It was a lot harder for me to adapt to surrounding myself by people I necessarily didn’t want to be around.”
Monica admits that it was easier playing Survivor when she was younger and a little less aware of life.
“I think I have a little less patience now to be in a situation that’s a little less than comfortable,” she explained. “As you become older and more comfortable [the Survivor experience] is tougher to swallow.I have no regrets. I went in trying to forge through the game. Maybe I should have been a little more delicate about it.”
She also tells us that her blindside is her best and worst moment.
“It did suck to get blindsided, but I was playing an aggressive game,” she said. “I would say I guess they didn’t trust me and were worried about what my moves would be against them later. I think it was incredibly stupid voting me out.”
