Survivor 2017 returned last night with an early Tribal Shuffle that took players from safe spots to certain danger but with double their chances at the Immunity Challenge. Here’s a look back through the week’s episode.
After quickly breaking up the old tribes the shuffled ones were sent back to their new camps including the Tavua (Green) tribe that had no camp to return to but instead had to get to work for some shelter of their own.
This week’s Immunity Challenge was “Austin’s EOC,” a returning comp from a few seasons ago featuring obstacles including a giant net teeter totter. At the end the second half of the tribe had to assemble the season’s logo puzzle. Tucked behind Tavua’s table was the first in-challenge Hidden Immunity Idol which Troyzan successfully nabbed without detection.
After the challenge Mana had a big decision to made which ultimately went against Caleb, the stronger contender compared to Hali. Strange choices this season. I can get voting out Tony over his anxiety and paranoia fueled methods, but Caleb? That seemed foolish to me. What do you think?
