Last night we saw Desi Williams, one of the original Healers tribe castaways, voted off Survivor and sent to Ponderosa where she became the first member of Season 35’s jury. Now outside the competition she had the chance to reflect on her game, what went wrong, and what’s still ahead.
Leaving in to the jungle we hear from Desi that she knows a Healer must have flipped on her, but she isn’t sure who that was. You’ll remember all those wild votes in the first round? That really didn’t help her avoid that faceoff vote, but she’s quick to get over it and move on. She meets Dr. Joe, finds out she’s lost a mere 7 pounds, and then heads for the resort.

First meal at Ponderosa for Desi? Pizza with lots of crazy things on it, but there were also french fries, cheesecake, wine, and much more. There’s even a glass of wine for the walk off to her bungalow. I think she’s earned it!
Since Desi was the first castaway to arrive at Ponderosa there wasn’t anyone to greet her, but she made do with the quiet time and even made a friend there at the resort.
