Survivor 2018 David vs. Goliath really started to take shape Wednesday night after a somewhat disjointed season premiere last week. This week we got to see relationships bloom, and already falter, and some tribe dynamics form. We also got our first Tribal Council, and with it came our first blindside of the season.

It wasn’t the most exciting blindside of the season, but it was an indicator that the David Tribe might not be the most physically strong group, but they have definitely proven they’re playing the game and using their assists – they’re minds.

As we saw at the end of the Tribal Council, Jessica was voted out, leaving a few people stunned. I don’t think who the vote played out necessarily means anyone is on the bottom, though. I think a group decided to vote one way this week and don’t see that sticking as a voting block.

Earlier in the episode we also had the immunity/reward challenge also, of course. It was a fun challenge and the Goliath’s ran away with it, easily defeating the Davids for a second week in a row.

As for the dynamics, it’s looking like Christian is trying to take hold of the David tribe, and he and Nick have formed a duo alliance, which positions Nick better than he was last week. On the Goliath tribe we’ve got Natalie as the main target because people are having a hard time getting along with her even though she doesn’t seem to realize that. Also, Dan is doing way too much and Kara is ready to cut off those early showmance vibes.

And now we’ve got all that went down in this week’s episode of Survivor 37 in our photo gallery  below. Be sure to check it out and let us know what you thought of this week’s episode.

Also make sure you’re back here for more Survivor 2018 coverage. We have previews, spoilers and our first Player Rankings of the season coming up. And of course we’ll be back here next Wednesday night for our live recap of the latest episode.
