Last night on Survivor 2018 Gabby Pascuzzi attempted to blindside her closest ally and failed, becoming Survivor 37 juror No. 6. But she swears it was to move her game forward and has nothing to do with Christian having his girlfriend visit.
OK, so she didn’t address the jealousy rumors that stormed social media (because this was filmed like a year ago), but she did offer some insight as to why she says she made the move (Oh and she also lets us know that she totally sensed that she’d be voted out).
“I knew what the perception of me was,” Gabby explained. “And I knew I had to change it. And to change it I had to do something drastic like get rid of my number one ally who also happens to be the biggest threat to win the game.”
Of course she couldn’t pull it off because Christian pulled out an idol and she was sent off to jury with just two votes. In her Ponderosa video, shared below, Gabby clearly didn’t give the editors much to work with because most of the video is actually about Elizabeth and rainbows. But Gabby does get enough airtime in her own video to share what she learned during her Survivor David vs. Goliath experience.
“This opportuiy at Ponderosa is for us to reflect on the game,” she says, “not only in the sense of the moves we made and the people we met but what does it mean for us in the larger scheme of things.”
She says she really takes home the lesson that even though she’s a nurturer she can still find time to nurture herself.
“I learned to not lose that part of me … still be a great friend … be there for others, but be compassionate toward myself as well,” Gabby said.
