Survivor 2018 was back last night and it was time to pull out the tissues because it was the loved ones episode. That means our remaining eight castaways were in tears when they saw their families show up to offer them some last-minute support. This is the time when the remaining players get that extra push to make it through the rest of the game.

First up tonight, we get to see everyone’s reaction to Carl’s elimination and then we head right into the loved ones visit as they’ll be a part of this week’s reward challenge as well. It’s an emotional reunion as Davie, Gabby, Angelina and Alison get a visit from their moms while Nick gets to see his dad. Kara’s brother, Mike’s boyfriend and Christian’s girlfriend round out the family visits.
Reward Challenge
For this challenge they will be playing in pairs. The first pair to finish wins a barbecue with their loved ones. Pairs are Angelina and Nick, Mike and Davie, Kara and Alison, and Gabby and Christian.
Nick and Angelina win reward! And they get to pick two more people to join them and they pick Davie and Mike.
Immunity Challenge
This week’s immunity challenge has the players balancing on a perch while holding a pole that balances a bucket of water. If the water falls, they’re out. Mike is the first person out. Gabby is the next person out. Alison is out followed by Angelina. Nick is the next person out. Christian is out. That leaves Davie and Kara. Davie is the last to drop. Kara wins immunity!
Tribal Council
Tonight it’s going to be Christian, Alison or possibly Gabby. Regardless of who goes, they’re going to be at least a little surprised. Let’s get to the votes. And Christian plays his hidden immunity idol!
The votes: Christian, Christian, Christian, Christian, Christian, Alison, Gabby, Gabby. Gabby is voted out!
