Survivor 2019: Edge of Extinction premieres Wednesday and we’ve got a sneak peek for you ahead of the big night.
This season we aren’t getting a double episode, so it will be a one-hour premiere starting at 8 PM EST on CBS. And if you’ve been living under a rock for the past year, let us remind you that in addition to 14 new castaways we have four returning alumni: Kelley Wentworth, David Wright, Joe Anglim and Aubry Bracco. The 18 total players will make up two tribes, Manu and Kama. Oh, and if you didn’t figure it out with only 18 castaways, this season’s twist will include a returning player to the competition.
This season presents a new layer to the game with the introduction of the island known as “Edge of Extinction,” which severely tests the will of the castaways to be the Sole Survivor and what they are willing to endure to make that happen. Those who can withstand the emotionally and physically difficult challenge will be afforded a shot for one of them to get back in the game and continue their quest for $1 million. — CBS
