Survivor 2020: Season 40 Premieres This Week!

The wait is over. Survivor 2020 premieres this Wednesday night as 20 past players begin their quest to win the 40th season and the whopping $2 million grand prize.

Survivor Winners at War kicks off at 8 PM Wednesday with a two-hour show. That means we will see two past winners get their torches snuffed. But of course it likely won’t end there for them as the Edge of Extinction twist is back. That means those voted out will get the option of going home or heading to the Edge of Extinction. And let’s be serious, none of these past winners are going to chose the go on home option. So I think it’s safe to say that we will be seeing all of our favorites (and not so favorites) for the entire run this season.

We will also see what the new fire tokens twist is all about. This new Survivor “currency” is sure to change the game up, but will it be for the better? A lot of fans are iffy on any changes, so we will have to wait and see if fire tokens are a welcome change to the Survivor game.

Who are you hoping gets voted off first? Who do you think has the best shot at winning the biggest prize money in reality TV history? Let us know in our comments section below.

Be sure to check back here tomorrow as we reveal a sneak peek of the first episode, including a look at the first challenge of Survivor 40. And definitely don’t miss our live recap of the premiere on Wednesday night. We will be here for the entire two hours keeping you updated as each competition, tribal council and vote goes down. And we will be back to do it again the following week and all season long.
