Survivor 43 Premiere: When Does Survivor 2022 Start?

The premiere for Survivor 43 is just around the corner which means the CBS reality competition show will be returning to television sets across the country very soon! Just as seasons prior, 18 new castaways and three new tribes will be competing for a $1 million grand prize and the prestigious title of Sole Survivor. So when does Survivor 2022 premiere you ask? Read on to find out!

After a brief hiatus a year ago, Survivor is back for its 43rd season in 22 years! Over the past year, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, we have seen some changes to the game that we all know and love. While Survivor will be returning to the Mamanuca Islands in Fiji for the 11th season, it will also continue to run on the shortened 26-day season. But don’t fret, that has only resulted in one less episode of the show over the past two seasons and we will still be able to enjoy 13 full episodes of Survivor 43!

In last season, we watched castaways compete not knowing what to expect due to them not being able to view the season before theirs. While the contestants for Survivor 43 may not have been able to watch last season due to filming, they were able to watch Season 41 of the show. Maybe that means it might be time for Survivor to introduce some new twists into the game. We will have to wait to find out!

So when will all this action begin? We will get to see the 18 new castaways use their social skills, physical abilities, and strategic gameplay as they fight their way to finale night beginning on September 21st at 8 PM EST/7 PM CT.
