Last week on Survivor One World, Jay was blindsided and sent packing and this week he continues to answer the questions we’re all wondering. Why did you trust so much? Why did you throw away immunity for chicken wings?
Find out what Jay had to say about his experience on Survivor 2012 in the answers to fans’ Facebook and Twitter questions below (courtesy of CBS).
Natalie G.: Why did you tell the girls about the idol and what made you think that you were safe after seeing the others guys voted off back to back?
Jay: I told them about the idol because I trusted Kim and Chelsea. I thought they would go along with the normal plan. I knew the girls would turn on me at some point but I thought the other guys would go before I did. I just trusted them.
Mary Ann P.: What made you feel so confident that you willingly gave up immunity?
Jay: I just trusted that everybody was going to vote Alicia out.
Matt W.: Hey Jay! Once u found out Troyzan had the idol, did u know u were going home?
Jay: I definitely became worried at that point. I wish I would have known it sooner.
Natalie H.: Do you regret throwing the immunity challenge? What would you do differently if you had a second chance?
Jay: Obviously. I probably would have made more small alliances.
Don K.: Jay…when do you think the alliances the men formed really started falling apart? What was the catalyst?
Jay: I think we really started to fall apart when we gave up immunity and sent our own person home.
Maria K.: How does it feel to be blindsided by former alliance members? If you could have played differently, how would you?
Jay: It sucks. But, that is the game. That is what makes it so exiting. If I could play again I would want to go on an immunity run after the merge, I would not give in to temptations during challenges like I did, and I would play a little bit more of a villain.
