Survivor Power Rankings: Winners At War Week 3

I’m going to have to warn you, I’m so upset over this week’s elimination, that it might effect my Survivor 2020 rankings for week 3. I’m going to hold onto that grudge tight. I’m mostly kidding, but not really.

But really, what a senseless move. If people wanted to weaken Rob, why not take Rob out. Anyway, as much as I’d like to just shut off my computer instead, let’s take a look at our third Survivor player rankings of the season. I’ll be keeping the rankings separated by tribes until they’re merge.

(Editor’s note: Keep in mind these rankings are based on what we saw this week, not who we think could win the season. No. 1 this week could easily be voted out next week)

Survivor 2020 Power Rankings Week 3

DAKAL

1. Yul Kwon. Once again, not much will change this week for this tribe. They won the challenge, so they all had a good showing there. But we didn’t get to see a whole lot of their strategies this round, so Yul is going to hold onto his top spot based on his overall gameplay so far.

2. Sandra Diaz-Twine. Sandra keeps her second spot as well. Not only does she still have her hidden immunity idol, but she caught a shark! That’s pretty bad-ass.

3. Sophie Clarke. Sophie holds onto her third spot because of her competition performance and the fact that she has half of Kim’s idol still.

4. Wendell Holland. We didn’t see much out of Wendell this episode, but it seems his position in the game is pretty solid at the moment. No. 4 seems like the right spot for him to hold onto this week.

5. Nick Wilson. Once again, Nick was just kind of there this week, but he definitely didn’t do anything to lost his position in the rankings, so he remains in the No. 5 spot for now.

6. Sarah Lacina. Sarah moves up a spot for pulling off that crazy challenge of sneaking into the other camp to get a steal a vote.

7. Tyson Apostol. Tyson drops another spot because of Sarah’s move, but also because he’s not doing a very good job at reading the room, so to speak. Him letting Yul know he would be ready to vote Sandra out was a bad move.

8. Tony Vlachos. Tony gets pushed down a spot this week by default. He’s actually doing a pretty solid job of keeping the target off of himself, and that says a lot, but I have no other reason to rank him higher at the moment.

9. Kim Spradlin-Wolfe. Kim holds up the bottom spot, and it still pains me. But she just hasn’t given me any reason to raise her yet. She has that half of the idol, but she gave it to Sophie, and even Sophie said that was a bad idea.

SELE

1. Rob Mariano. Rob regains the top spot this week despite being the one to basically lose the challenge two weeks in a row. But the fact that those “New School” players are so afraid of him that they would vote out arguably the weakest player of the Old Schools to weaken Rob is crazy. Rob has such a hold on them that I would be crazy to rank him any lower than first. .

2. Parvati Shallow. Parvati moves back down to the second spot this week because she actually was a bit of a target and got some votes, but she and Rob are still running the show. And now she has an extra fire token thanks to Ethan.

3. Denise Stapley. Denise jumps up simply because she now has a full idol because Adam gave her the other half back, making it a real thing. Her vote this week was as stupid as everyone else below her, but her idol makes her more powerful than them.

4. Jeremy Collins. Jeremy hangs onto the No. 4 spot because he still has his power and he’s such an adaptable player that I can’t fault him for his vote. He was just going with the group to keep himself safe, after that target that was on him Week 1.

5.  Adam Klein. Adam holds onto this spot much to my surprise. At first I was going to rank him last because of how dumb this week was, but then I realized that the others were actually dumber than him. They blindsided him with their Ethan vote, but what was the point in that when Ethan was someone Adam needed out, too. It was all just so senseless.

6. Michele Fitzgerald. Michele isn’t last this week only because Ben still exists. It was her who first threw Ethan’s name out there to weaken Rob. And it was her who was so frustrated with Adam playing all sides that they decided to not vote Parvati, who is equally as strong as Rob. I just can’t make any sense of this, no matter how hard I try. If they’re going to piss Rob off anyway, vote out Parvati. Or just vote ROB OUT. The person who would have been least upset over any of those decisions was Ethan.

7 . Ben Driebergen. Ben is keeping this spot for as long as he’s in the game. Nothing he does makes any sense, and I’m shocked he ever won this game.

Voted out: Ethan John

How would you rank the players after the second week of Survivor 40 Winners at War?
