Sunday should be exciting with everyone(except for Nat) trying to beat Brett. I guess Russell with have to do it because the other two Foa Foa men are kinda useless.

#34 last blog, Jeanne. Yeah, I didn’t get the prayer circle thing at all! Like God is going to influence a bunch of falling coconuts! Besides, Natalie prayers were at odds with how she resumed her lovefest with Russell immediatly afterwards. The whole thing was bizarre.
I belive that Shambo was Russells only true friend and it was hard for him to vote her off and he knows its a game and she will under stand but i seen his face it hurt him so yes he does care but its hard for him to show his feelings.

So I agree w/most of u about Sham winning the 100G’s. She played a good game. Jaison just rode Russ’ coat tails the whole game and Nat is just a follower. I wish when they talked about doing a BIG move they got rid of Russ. I’m not a fan of cocky people. HOWEVER, Russell should and probably WILL win. How many hidden idols did he find? And then being bold enough to wear the last one to counsel wow the man has b*lls. I singed up to blog about Survivor like I did with Big Brother, but this season just wasn’t worth my time. Don’t get me wrong, I love chatting w/all of u but Survivor wasn’t worth my time. Now when BB12 AND TAR comes well u will get sick & tired of seeing my name & posts. But we will cross the bridge when it comes
Now onto the holidays.
@Cooper I’m a teacher also (preschool) and so far I have received only 3 gift cards but they total an amount of over $125.00. Maybe b/c I teach in Fairfield County Connecticut. All the parents know that all of the teachers have been showing the children healthy eat habits so no one is giving chocolates or any junk foods. I love my parents. But the best is looking into those little faces and seeing the excitement of the holidays spirits in them.

Kare, I teach highschool English (grades 8 & 9). We are not allowed to accept any gifts that would cost over $15 and money gifts of any amount are forbidden. The gifts I love the best are the ones students make themselves. This year I received a beautiful framed poem written by a grade nine girl and also an excellent painting of two deer done by a very talented 13 year old boy. I feel very blessed.

June 15 and 36. Snowballs LMAO. Barney and I are just hanging out waiting for Santa Claus. He has given up on the Stereo Santa, and now looks up at the Nativity Scene on the mantal. That is so cute!!! His birthday is the 22nd, so I am going to get him a sugarfree cake, and a hat, and if he keeps the hat on long enough, I will take a picture. I feel for all of you guys on the East Coast that are snowed in. Hee, hee. I am from Michigan originally, and I hate the snow. I would like it if it would only snow on the lawns, and not on the streets, parking lots, etc. We are supposed to get about 1/2 inch and that is plenty for me. I would vote for Russell to get the $100,000.00. CAUSE? He really knows how to play the game. I think that his only BIG error was to tell anybody that he was a millionaire, because I think that he would have won it all if he had kept his mouth shut. I am getting tired of all of the Tiger Crap, but am glad his wife is getting a divorce. I don’t think that will teach him anything, but at least when he unzips his pants, he won’t be committing adultry. However, I still love to watch him play – golf, that is. Hey, heard something really neat the other day that I would like to pass on. It was from Joel Olsteen – the minister from Texas – he says that it is ok to hate the sin, but we should love the sinner. Good think to keep in mind when we get crapped on. Hooray Colts, now I hope that the Saints can keep from being undefeated. It would be cool to have two teams go with no losses, don’t ya think? :oops: Got to go and wrap some presents, and put them UP REAL HIGH, SO THAT YOU KNOW WHO WON’T TEAR THEM APART. Hey Cat, are you out of the hospital? Hope so!!!
I know Russell doesn’t need the money but he is the only one that has really played this game. He is sharp, that is why he is already a millionaire.
I hope that Russell wins because he played not only the game but all the players. However, I don’t think he’ll receive any votes other than perhaps from Shambo … maybe. I don’t think any of the others deserve to win. All of them have ridden on Russell’s whims and done his bidding. That is a form of playing, but it’s a very benign one. I’ve gone off Natalie since the prayer circle thing.
@Cooper, I get art work everyday. They see their mom & dad’s take them home then throw them in the trash. I hang them up in my work closet so they see them every time I open the door. Now as far as what u received from ur high school students, well if my 14yr old son did something like that for a teacher I would cry w/pride. That just shows what a great teacher u really r. U must be doing something right. Being a preschool teacher, I’m w/their children from 8am to 6pm. I see more if their children then they do. I feel so privileged that these parents have in trusted their babies to me. I have such respect for my preschoolers. I think and hope that they feel. One of my workshops told us once u don’t have to like every child but I try find something in every one of them that I love. Even the hardest one. A little boy who only works out his problems w/kicking & hitting. All he is looking for is attention. I give him a lot of positive attention. Praising him for only good behavior and trying to not spend much time on the bad. Okay I’m rambling a bit, sorry but I love my job so much. I’m going on 9 yrs of teaching. I think I’m going to be that little grey haired teacher that won’t ever leave.
Now getting back to our show. I would love to see a huge upset this Sunday. Something that will take everyone by surprise. Let’s hope it happens. It will give up some good juicy stuff to chat about. Peace ♥Kare♥

These women leave in the middle of the night with their children and all they have is the clothes on their backs. The children have to leave EVERYTHING they love behind. They don’t understand. So please think about helping out those in need this season. You might be struggling b/c u lost ur job but if ur reading this I know u have internet connection and a TV that u watch Survivor on. That’s a LOT more then what some people have. Sorry to have to end on a depressing state but that’s where our country is at this time. Things will get better. My vote for $100,000 should be RussHell – the ultimate master of the game, but I have to give it to Shambles. Bless her heart she was awful at challenges, but she NEVER quit playing the game and left the game with grace and class! Besides, in the mid to late 70’s I too had a mullet and let me tell you it was hot – hot – hot!!!

My daughter screwed up my laptop last night and hard drive is fried. Russell will win for the simple fact, that nobody in the finals right now have even been on the same level as him game wise. He’s outsmarted everyone, even his own “alliances”. He truly never made real alliances with anyone. He said out of his own mouth that he wouldn’t hold to any alliance. That giving your word to further yourself in the game is not making an alliance. He’s disposed of the very same people he swore he wouldn’t get rid of. In the past some of the winners of BB and Survivor have been some of THE MOST HATED people in reality TV. There really is no argument against a good game.
@57 – I hate to say this, but some of the celebrities on The Apprentice are really ruthless business folk in real life. It’s to my understanding that Gene Simmons is actually a megalo-maniac and an ass when it comes to money. Some of these celebs are really jerks in real life. The Donald seems ok…on TV. He’s one of the most cut-throat businessmen on the planet. Sometimes the viciousness is not fake. Even though that money the celebs win goes to charity, no celebrity wants to get embarrassed on national television, especially when legitimate business decisions are on the line.
Mikey i agree with the apprentices being wacky Gene Simmons is one of the wackiest and the richest so i guess they do it all for money in their real life but they do get some charity done with the Donald so maybe they have some mercy form the apprentice gods :)
sorry to say i agree with the spoiler that says RussHell does not get the jury vote, there are just too many wacky jurors :) and in the past the jurors always got their revenge except if the juror is already a good game player and respects game play like Ozzy did…

June 61. I like Joel Osteen too. It’s nice to hear a preacher preach about good things, instead of fire and brimstones all of the time. He is a pleasure to watch. Boo, the Saints lost, but I still like them, and hope that they make it to the big game, but my favorite team is, of course, the Colts. We were very lucky with this snowstorm. Everybody around us really got bombarded, but we only got 1/2 an inch. Barney was not too sure what to make it, and was scared at first, but then got his courage up and went outside. Snow is beautiful to look at, but it sure causes a lot of problems. Can’t wait for tonight to see what happens. I would really like to be surprised, and not have Natalie win.

Ok Russ is being a jerk now and it is pissing me off since I pulled for the guy since day 1.
RussHs weakness in this season is that he STIMULATED ADRENALIN in everyone with his direct expressions of anger when anyone called him out, the human brain USES adrenalin as a survival mechanism to REMEMBER WELL any such adrenalin activity, the burnt hand fears the fire, i fear RussH has made too many enemies in this season by poor communications skills

I just saw the final result of the game with Natalie winning. I am truly shocked. It wasn’t that they voted for her. It was that the jury voted against Russell. The game is flawed. The jury should be impartial. 99 per cent of the audience across NA felt that Russell was the clear hands-down winner.
What happened tonight was a sham. No one was honest except for Shambo. And she said it all when she voted, “If anyone deserves to win, it’s you, Russell.”
Jaison really is just hating on Russell, because he was done in by him. He’s really bitter. And Natalie did not play a good game. She reminds me of a certain other Ratalie that rode the coatails of others. Riding coatails is a very dishonorable way of gameplay. It shows that you have absolutely no inclination to do anything for yourself game wise. No ideas of how to make moves in the game. It’s basically sitting there, with a hope and prayer that the person your coatailing doesn’t get burned.
Russell was so much better. He controlled many people, and said many things to keep other names in the forefront of others minds. At one point, he literally had 8 Galu members coming after him. Yet he dodged each bullet, Matrix like. He constantly stayed on his toes, and kept his ears open. He had no qualms about getting rid of his own people. He had no qualms about getting Galu to get rid of their own people. He is by far, the most manipulative Survivor player EVER. He wasn’t the most physical player, but neither was Dr. Will in BB. And Dr. Will is considered THE BEST BB player EVER. To not give the game to Russell was bad form.
Russell is pissed. He knows he outplayed everyone and they all know it too which is why they didn’t vote for him. They are sore losers.

Russell just said it, that apparently he was the only one taking the game seriously. He just stated plain fact. Even John the rocket scientist said he was surrounded by idiots and morons. Apparently no one was taking the game seriously, because they only voted out of hatred for Russell and not on gameplay.
I know blackgirl! She disappointed me in how she is acting tonight. Money and fame do go to peoples head. She should feel bad that everyone in the audience gives so much praise for Russ.
At least he got viewer’s choice. We know who the real sole survivor is.

Sorry Anthony. I just can’t buy it. Personal feelings SHOULD NOT dictate your vote and the fate of someone ending up with a million dollars. BOO FRIGGIN’ HOO, you got tossed out of the game on your ear by someone who was better than you. He clearly won the game. Just because he did things the way he did, DOES NOT justify the jury tossing their votes away on a USELESS member of the tribe. Oh, she was nice to people, but she brought absolutely NOTHING to the game. She didn’t even contribute anything to to the tribe. She got the vote for the money because of the jury’s selfish desire to spite Russell. Shambo said it best, that Russell really was the only one deserved of the money and title. Everyone else are truly what John described them as, idiots. Even in other reality shows and in past Survivor seasons, the jury’s have been able to put selfish reasoning behind them, and really vote for the best game player.
And btw, Russell never lost his cool or his temper. Not once. He never blew up at anyone, or raised his voice to anyone. He was never mean to anyone directly either. He never said a cross word to any individual player. Anger for him was not the issue. The issue is a bunch of WHINY SORE LOSERS not owning up to the fact they got played, and were played harder than anyone ever has on Survivor for that matter. That just left a bitter taste in their mouths, that they were OUTPLAYED, OUTWITTED, and OUTLASTED.
Richard Hatch was much better at manipulating ANYONE, Richard did his trick RIGHT ON LIVE CAMERA at his finale, RussH is no Richard Hatch, RussH had NO TEAM on the jury, Richard had loyal friends even though he had made fools of them all, RussH needs better TEAM SKILLS and personal skills to defuse anger in his opponents, causing anger does NOT WIN this game, the jury vote proves that, facts are facts, RussH never had a chance with the jury because he did not build team loyalty…
Then those IDIOTS that voted for Richard Hatch obviously need to go back and check themselves because he was a backstabbing jerk who cared only for himself. What TEAM loyalty did he have? He threw his own team members under the bus too. It just happened that it was the first season ever and no one really knew what they were doing. I GUARANTEE that those folk look back at that and say to themselves they were idiots for even believing they were friends, or that he was “loyal”. And besides Russell never had to use “tricks” to win over people in decision making. He just stated his case for certain situations and planted seeds of doubt stategically amongst his first tribe and when they united into one. By far a better manipulator. And by the way you can be hated by everyone and still win the the game. And it doesn’t involve team play either. Ask Boston Rob or Dr. Will how they enjoyed their winnings. Their definitely wasn’t any team loyalty involved in their victories and come to think of it, neither was Hatch’s win either.

I agree with Russ, Jaison is pissed about the socks as he should be(that was over the top) but I still think he should have won. He was on his game 24/7. He should have a good reality show future ahead of him.

AC- #147 I agree completely! Sadly he still thinks he actually was the best player and will have to learn that same lesson again in Survivor 20. He was the best ever in many aspects of the game but failed to realize the need for social skills. In spite of all of his lies and trickery, had he presented his gameplay to the jury in a more humble way, instead of being cocky about it and acting like he was the automatic winner, he might have swayed enough members of the jury to actually win. To all the sad Russell lovers if he had burned YOUR socks or lied to YOUR face costing you a chance at a million dollars you wouldn’t have voted for him either. As for calling the jury sore losers for not voting for him, Russell also has the distinction after tonight of being the sorest loser in Survivor history. I can’t wait to watch him lose again next season.

As much as I disliked Russ H tactics, I would have had to vote for him. His game play was brilliant. He came in with a plan and executed it 24/7. Too bad the jury confused game play with who is a better person. It is a “game”.
He has a right to be sore. He was the best and he put all the hard work in,just to have a person who had done absolutely nothing to deserve the title, win. I would be pissed if i were him. Just because he was “rough” with people, does not give the jusy the right to deny him his dues. It was a petty move on their part for “giving” the game to someone who did not deserve to win. Selfishness of others is what caused Russ to loose that game.

You are right, but all the comments are “against Russell”. At least he did something. Survivor the game would be VERY boring & not much of a game if everyone acted like it was real life, and a popularity contest. Football wouldn’t be much of a game if all the social protocols were adhered to (please, no you first, here you can have the ball, I’ll share, he assaulted me!).
I’m sorry, but emotions are left for the weak in this game. Notice how all the emotional rejects were sitting on the sidelines cast out of the game mind you, by the guy who refused to make any real connections with the people there. And by the by those same rejects had plenty of oppurtunities to get rid of him. But did they? No, they didn’t. Because they’re dumb. And who is Kelly to talk? She seems a couple eggs short of a dozen. And besides, her credibility is lost on me when she stated that he made stupid moves. And btw, worse things have been said about others in Survivors past. Plenty of folks have won with people HATING their guts. People with no real attachments to their jurors because of the way they treated them, still won their seasons. Gameplay needs to be rewarded, regardless of personal emotions. Yeah, Russ may have used people like pawns in a chess game, but Survivor is basially a chess game with people. Russell just happenend to be a King that didn’t get rewarded for putting this game in check-mate.

The jury vote is an important part of the game. It is actually the most important. The football and chess analogy don’t apply here because there is not a vote taken at the end of a game of football or chess. Russell’s mistake was that he didn’t think about the jury until tonight and it was already too late. Then what did he do but lie to Brett and Jaison, the only jury members he had a chance to win over at that time. He should have been honest to them and tell them they were leaving or not said anything at all and maybe he could have got their vote. He was great at most of the game but failed miserably at the most important part. The offer of $10,000 to Natalie was so pitiful I had to turn my head. Maybe if he had offered the jury members some money they might have voted for him. Getting Shambo’s vote is like the kiss of death. In all of her votes she only picked a winner twice. Eric’s speech was dead on and said it all. I thought Eric would have voted for him because of the looks on his face at the tribals when Russell would whip out an immunity idol or pull off another feat. I am sure Brett filled them in on Russell’s lie to him at the end. That probably sealed the deal.

#34 last blog, Jeanne. Yeah, I didn’t get the prayer circle thing at all! Like God is going to influence a bunch of falling coconuts! Besides, Natalie prayers were at odds with how she resumed her lovefest with Russell immediatly afterwards. The whole thing was bizarre.
I belive that Shambo was Russells only true friend and it was hard for him to vote her off and he knows its a game and she will under stand but i seen his face it hurt him so yes he does care but its hard for him to show his feelings.

@Cooper I’m a teacher also (preschool) and so far I have received only 3 gift cards but they total an amount of over $125.00. Maybe b/c I teach in Fairfield County Connecticut. All the parents know that all of the teachers have been showing the children healthy eat habits so no one is giving chocolates or any junk foods. I love my parents. But the best is looking into those little faces and seeing the excitement of the holidays spirits in them.

Kare, I teach highschool English (grades 8 & 9). We are not allowed to accept any gifts that would cost over $15 and money gifts of any amount are forbidden. The gifts I love the best are the ones students make themselves. This year I received a beautiful framed poem written by a grade nine girl and also an excellent painting of two deer done by a very talented 13 year old boy. I feel very blessed.

June 15 and 36. Snowballs LMAO. Barney and I are just hanging out waiting for Santa Claus. He has given up on the Stereo Santa, and now looks up at the Nativity Scene on the mantal. That is so cute!!! His birthday is the 22nd, so I am going to get him a sugarfree cake, and a hat, and if he keeps the hat on long enough, I will take a picture. I feel for all of you guys on the East Coast that are snowed in. Hee, hee. I am from Michigan originally, and I hate the snow. I would like it if it would only snow on the lawns, and not on the streets, parking lots, etc. We are supposed to get about 1/2 inch and that is plenty for me. I would vote for Russell to get the $100,000.00. CAUSE? He really knows how to play the game. I think that his only BIG error was to tell anybody that he was a millionaire, because I think that he would have won it all if he had kept his mouth shut. I am getting tired of all of the Tiger Crap, but am glad his wife is getting a divorce. I don’t think that will teach him anything, but at least when he unzips his pants, he won’t be committing adultry. However, I still love to watch him play – golf, that is. Hey, heard something really neat the other day that I would like to pass on. It was from Joel Olsteen – the minister from Texas – he says that it is ok to hate the sin, but we should love the sinner. Good think to keep in mind when we get crapped on. Hooray Colts, now I hope that the Saints can keep from being undefeated. I hope that Russell wins because he played not only the game but all the players. However, I don’t think he’ll receive any votes other than perhaps from Shambo … maybe. I don’t think any of the others deserve to win. All of them have ridden on Russell’s whims and done his bidding. That is a form of playing, but it’s a very benign one. I’ve gone off Natalie since the prayer circle thing.
@Cooper, I get art work everyday. They see their mom & dad’s take them home then throw them in the trash. I hang them up in my work closet so they see them every time I open the door. Now as far as what u received from ur high school students, well if my 14yr old son did something like that for a teacher I would cry w/pride. That just shows what a great teacher u really r. U must be doing something right. Being a preschool teacher, I’m w/their children from 8am to 6pm. I see more if their children then they do. I feel so privileged that these parents have in trusted their babies to me. I have such respect for my preschoolers. I think and hope that they feel. One of my workshops told us once u don’t have to like every child but I try find something in every one of them that I love. Even the hardest one. A little boy who only works out his problems w/kicking & hitting. All he is looking for is attention. I give him a lot of positive attention. Praising him for only good behavior and trying to not spend much time on the bad. Okay I’m rambling a bit, sorry but I love my job so much. I’m going on 9 yrs of teaching. I think I’m going to be that little grey haired teacher that won’t ever leave.
Now getting back to our show. I would love to see a huge upset this Sunday. Something that will take everyone by surprise. Let’s hope it happens. It will give up some good juicy stuff to chat about. Peace ♥Kare♥

My vote for $100,000 should be RussHell – the ultimate master of the game, but I have to give it to Shambles. Bless her heart she was awful at challenges, but she NEVER quit playing the game and left the game with grace and class! Russell will win for the simple fact, that nobody in the finals right now have even been on the same level as him game wise. He’s outsmarted everyone, even his own “alliances”. He truly never made real alliances with anyone. He said out of his own mouth that he wouldn’t hold to any alliance. That giving your word to further yourself in the game is not making an alliance. He’s disposed of the very same people he swore he wouldn’t get rid of. In the past some of the winners of BB and Survivor have been some of THE MOST HATED people in reality TV. There really is no argument against a good game.
@57 – I hate to say this, but some of the celebrities on The Apprentice are really ruthless business folk in real life. It’s to my understanding that Gene Simmons is actually a megalo-maniac and an ass when it comes to money. Some of these celebs are really jerks in real life. The Donald seems ok…on TV. He’s one of the most cut-throat businessmen on the planet. Sometimes the viciousness is not fake. Even though that money the celebs win goes to charity, no celebrity wants to get embarrassed on national television, especially when legitimate business decisions are on the line.
Mikey i agree with the apprentices being wacky Gene Simmons is one of the wackiest and the richest so i guess they do it all for money in their real life but they do get some charity done with the Donald so maybe they have some mercy form the apprentice gods :)
sorry to say i agree with the spoiler that says RussHell does not get the jury vote, there are just too many wacky jurors :) and in the past the jurors always got their revenge except if the juror is already a good game player and respects game play like Ozzy did…

June 61. I like Joel Osteen too. It’s nice to hear a preacher preach about good things, instead of fire and brimstones all of the time. He is a pleasure to watch. Boo, the Saints lost, but I still like them, and hope that they make it to the big game, but my favorite team is, of course, the Colts. We were very lucky with this snowstorm. Everybody around us really got bombarded, but we only got 1/2 an inch. Barney was not too sure what to make it, and was scared at first, but then got his courage up and went outside. Snow is beautiful to look at, but it sure causes a lot of problems. Can’t wait for tonight to see what happens. I would really like to be surprised, and not have Natalie win.

Ok Russ is being a jerk now and it is pissing me off since I pulled for the guy since day 1.
RussHs weakness in this season is that he STIMULATED ADRENALIN in everyone with his direct expressions of anger when anyone called him out, the human brain USES adrenalin as a survival mechanism to REMEMBER WELL any such adrenalin activity, the burnt hand fears the fire, i fear RussH has made too many enemies in this season by poor communications skills

I just saw the final result of the game with Natalie winning. I am truly shocked. It wasn’t that they voted for her. It was that the jury voted against Russell. The game is flawed. The jury should be impartial. 99 per cent of the audience across NA felt that Russell was the clear hands-down winner.
What happened tonight was a sham. No one was honest except for Shambo. And she said it all when she voted, “If anyone deserves to win, it’s you, Russell.”
Jaison really is just hating on Russell, because he was done in by him. He’s really bitter. And Natalie did not play a good game. She reminds me of a certain other Ratalie that rode the coatails of others. Riding coatails is a very dishonorable way of gameplay. It shows that you have absolutely no inclination to do anything for yourself game wise. No ideas of how to make moves in the game. It’s basically sitting there, with a hope and prayer that the person your coatailing doesn’t get burned.
Russell was so much better. He controlled many people, and said many things to keep other names in the forefront of others minds. At one point, he literally had 8 Galu members coming after him. Yet he dodged each bullet, Matrix like. He constantly stayed on his toes, and kept his ears open. He had no qualms about getting rid of his own people. He had no qualms about getting Galu to get rid of their own people. He is by far, the most manipulative Survivor player EVER. He wasn’t the most physical player, but neither was Dr. Will in BB. And Dr. Will is considered THE BEST BB player EVER. To not give the game to Russell was bad form.
Russell is pissed. He knows he outplayed everyone and they all know it too which is why they didn’t vote for him. They are sore losers.

Russell just said it, that apparently he was the only one taking the game seriously. He just stated plain fact. Even John the rocket scientist said he was surrounded by idiots and morons. Apparently no one was taking the game seriously, because they only voted out of hatred for Russell and not on gameplay.
I know blackgirl! She disappointed me in how she is acting tonight. Money and fame do go to peoples head. She should feel bad that everyone in the audience gives so much praise for Russ.

Sorry Anthony. I just can’t buy it. Personal feelings SHOULD NOT dictate your vote and the fate of someone ending up with a million dollars. BOO FRIGGIN’ HOO, you got tossed out of the game on your ear by someone who was better than you. He clearly won the game. Just because he did things the way he did, DOES NOT justify the jury tossing their votes away on a USELESS member of the tribe. Oh, she was nice to people, but she brought absolutely NOTHING to the game. She didn’t even contribute anything to to the tribe. She got the vote for the money because of the jury’s selfish desire to spite Russell. Shambo said it best, that Russell really was the only one deserved of the money and title. Everyone else are truly what John described them as, idiots. Even in other reality shows and in past Survivor seasons, the jury’s have been able to put selfish reasoning behind them, and really vote for the best game player.
And btw, Russell never lost his cool or his temper. Not once. He never blew up at anyone, or raised his voice to anyone. He was never mean to anyone directly either. He never said a cross word to any individual player. Anger for him was not the issue. The issue is a bunch of WHINY SORE LOSERS not owning up to the fact they got played, and were played harder than anyone ever has on Survivor for that matter. That just left a bitter taste in their mouths, that they were OUTPLAYED, OUTWITTED, and OUTLASTED.
Richard Hatch was much better at manipulating ANYONE, Richard did his trick RIGHT ON LIVE CAMERA at his finale, RussH is no Richard Hatch, RussH had NO TEAM on the jury, Richard had loyal friends even though he had made fools of them all, RussH needs better TEAM SKILLS and personal skills to defuse anger in his opponents, causing anger does NOT WIN this game, the jury vote proves that, facts are facts, RussH never had a chance with the jury because he did not build team loyalty…
Then those IDIOTS that voted for Richard Hatch obviously need to go back and check themselves because he was a backstabbing jerk who cared only for himself. What TEAM loyalty did he have? He threw his own team members under the bus too. It just happened that it was the first season ever and no one really knew what they were doing. I GUARANTEE that those folk look back at that and say to themselves they were idiots for even believing they were friends, or that he was “loyal”. And besides Russell never had to use “tricks” to win over people in decision making. He just stated his case for certain situations and planted seeds of doubt stategically amongst his first tribe and when they united into one. By far a better manipulator. And by the way you can be hated by everyone and still win the the game. And it doesn’t involve team play either. Ask Boston Rob or Dr. Will how they enjoyed their winnings. Their definitely wasn’t any team loyalty involved in their victories and come to think of it, neither was Hatch’s win either.

I agree with Russ, Jaison is pissed about the socks as he should be(that was over the top) but I still think he should have won. He was on his game 24/7. He should have a good reality show future ahead of him.

AC- #147 I agree completely! Sadly he still thinks he actually was the best player and will have to learn that same lesson again in Survivor 20. He was the best ever in many aspects of the game but failed to realize the need for social skills. In spite of all of his lies and trickery, had he presented his gameplay to the jury in a more humble way, instead of being cocky about it and acting like he was the automatic winner, he might have swayed enough members of the jury to actually win. To all the sad Russell lovers if he had burned YOUR socks or lied to YOUR face costing you a chance at a million dollars you wouldn’t have voted for him either. As for calling the jury sore losers for not voting for him, Russell also has the distinction after tonight of being the sorest loser in Survivor history. I can’t wait to watch him lose again next season.

As much as I disliked Russ H tactics, I would have had to vote for him. His game play was brilliant. He came in with a plan and executed it 24/7. Too bad the jury confused game play with who is a better person. It is a “game”.
He has a right to be sore. He was the best and he put all the hard work in,just to have a person who had done absolutely nothing to deserve the title, win. I would be pissed if i were him. Just because he was “rough” with people, does not give the jusy the right to deny him his dues. It was a petty move on their part for “giving” the game to someone who did not deserve to win. Selfishness of others is what caused Russ to loose that game.

You are right, but all the comments are “against Russell”. At least he did something. Survivor the game would be VERY boring & not much of a game if everyone acted like it was real life, and a popularity contest. Football wouldn’t be much of a game if all the social protocols were adhered to (please, no you first, here you can have the ball, I’ll share, he assaulted me!).
I’m sorry, but emotions are left for the weak in this game. Notice how all the emotional rejects were sitting on the sidelines cast out of the game mind you, by the guy who refused to make any real connections with the people there. And by the by those same rejects had plenty of oppurtunities to get rid of him. But did they? No, they didn’t. Because they’re dumb. And who is Kelly to talk? She seems a couple eggs short of a dozen. And besides, her credibility is lost on me when she stated that he made stupid moves. And btw, worse things have been said about others in Survivors past. Plenty of folks have won with people HATING their guts. People with no real attachments to their jurors because of the way they treated them, still won their seasons. Gameplay needs to be rewarded, regardless of personal emotions. Yeah, Russ may have used people like pawns in a chess game, but Survivor is basially a chess game with people. Russell just happenend to be a King that didn’t get rewarded for putting this game in check-mate.

The jury vote is an important part of the game. It is actually the most important. The football and chess analogy don’t apply here because there is not a vote taken at the end of a game of football or chess. Russell’s mistake was that he didn’t think about the jury until tonight and it was already too late. Then what did he do but lie to Brett and Jaison, the only jury members he had a chance to win over at that time. He should have been honest to them and tell them they were leaving or not said anything at all and maybe he could have got their vote. He was great at most of the game but failed miserably at the most important part. The offer of $10,000 to Natalie was so pitiful I had to turn my head. Maybe if he had offered the jury members some money they might have voted for him. Getting Shambo’s vote is like the kiss of death. In all of her votes she only picked a winner twice. Eric’s speech was dead on and said it all. I thought Eric would have voted for him because of the looks on his face at the tribals when Russell would whip out an immunity idol or pull off another feat. I am sure Brett filled them in on Russell’s lie to him at the end. That probably sealed the deal.
