Survivor 42 kicks off this week as the 18 new castaways being their battle to become the Sole Survivor and the winner of the $1 Million grand prize.
And we have a sneak peek at the first two challenges of the season. One of these will be a reward challenge, and the other the first immunity challenge. Since this is a two-hour season premiere, we are expecting two immunity challenges and two tribal councils.
Also we can report that the Summit twist is back and that some contestants will make the trip to the Summit where they can make game-altering decisions, just like last season.

“Feels Like a Rollercoaster” – Eighteen new castaways begin their battle for $1 million and the title of Sole Survivor, on the special two-hour season premiere of the 42nd edition of the CBS Original series SURVIVOR, Wednesday, March 9 (8:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network, and available to stream live and on demand on Paramount+*. In the premiere episode, some castaways take a journey to the summit and make a decision that could affect their game.
