CBS is promising us a “shocking tribal council” following this week’s Tribe Shuffle on Survivor 2017 and it all kicks off tonight at 8/7c on CBS. Say goodbye to the Heroes, Healers, and Hustlers tribe as we say hello to three new groups of five.
The Hustlers lost two castaways in a row with Simone and Patrick voted off so now with Healers carrying the numbers advantage it was time to shake things up. All that hard work of building a position of power in the tribes could be wiped out, or with the right Buffs draw it could be made even stronger.
With an odd number of Survivor castaways left in Season 35, it would have required a sudden elimination or some sort of outcast island to take us down to two tribes, but that isn’t going to happen. CBS released press photos showing three columns of obstacles on the playing field so we can easily expect three groups again this time. Along with that, we’re shifting from one competition to two comps tonight. That’s a shame since I enjoyed the extra time back at camps.
