Tonight On Survivor 2019: Island Of The Idols Season Premiere

Survivor 2019 is back tonight for its 39th season! This season’s subtitle is Island of the Idols, because the 20 new castaways are set to be mentored by two of Survivor’s greatest idols Sandra Diaz-Twine and Boston Rob Mariano.

“For our 39th season, we are bringing back two of our most dominant winners to serve as mentors to a new group of castaways,”  Executive Producer and show host Jeff Probst said. “It’s a SURVIVOR boot camp where each week, players will be instructed on a different facet of the game and then have a chance to test what they’ve learned for a shot at an advantage.”

The 90-minute season premiere of Survivor Island of the Idols kicks off at 8 PM EST on CBS just before the Big Brother 21 season finale. Check out the sneak peek of the first episode of the season below.

From CBS: “I Vote You Out and That’s It” – One castaway gets fired up when learning a lesson on the Island of the Idols, where Boston Rob Mariano and Sandra Diaz serve as mentors in an all-new twist. Also, castaways question whether likability will prove to be a liability.
