Next Time On Survivor 2016: Game Changing Twist

Next time on Survivor 2016 the Millennials and Gen-X tribes will face a “game changing twist” as CBS promises and we see at least one of the tribes will be drawing stones.

Survivor 2016's Millennial tribe draws stones

With two castaways eliminated so far on Survivor this season we’re down to 9 on each tribe leaving 18 players in the game. So what could the game be up to with so many people left on the Survivor beaches? Third tribe, anyone?

It’s entirely possible we could be getting a third tribe as PlanetBuff.com is now selling a third Buff, a green design named “Ikabula,” and three players from each of the existing two tribes could be peeled off to give us three tribes of six each. Or that green Buff could just be for the eventual Tribe Merge in a few weeks.

I don’t know for certain if that’s what Survivor is up to here but if they’re abandoning the Millennials vs Gen-X theme after just two rounds then that’s a bit of a pointless theme to have even built up.

There is also the interesting press photo of bread and a note suggesting the two tribes will get together for some food and a temporary truce. Maybe a few players from each side come to meet in the middle and build pre-merge alliances. We’ll find out more with the next episode this coming Wednesday (8/7c on CBS).

What do you think the Survivor team is up to with this new rock draw? Is there something else more likely that they could be doing with picking stones? Share your ideas
