Last night’s Survivor gave us a lot to chew on with its double eliminations and surprise outcomes. Natalie’s plan looked solid, but that’s what’s great about Survivor in that almost anyone could pull out a win and secure their safety. Well, not Alec. He couldn’t win safety.

The first round of challenges and Tribal Council are featured in the pictures below from this week’s Survivor 2014 episode as Missy was handed the Reward Challenge and Keith locked down an Immunity win. Where did this challenge-killer in Keith come from? He nearly turned it in to a double feature for Immunity wins this week!

  1. Gifts to the children included only gifts to the boys. Baseball gloves, balls, bats, etc. While girls can play, I didn’t see any girls get t-shirts or playing with the toys in this male-oriented society. Why not bring jump ropes and hula hoops for the girls next time.

  3. I didn’t realize until I saw the pic of the whole tribe that the gals outnumber the guys. Has this happened before at this stage in the game? Could we possibly be looking at a gal final 2?? I’m betting on Natalie and Jaclyn with Natalie winning the whole kit and kaboodle.

  4. Matt: Thanx for posting these great pics ~ sometimes the action is too fast for my less than perky eyes ~ I appreciate being able to see the action as the survivors are standing still.

  7. It’s unlikely that anyone here could answer that. That’s more of a question for CBS or Survivor production.

    They said they picked baseball because it’s a very popular sport there. I’d imagine baseball bats, helmets, and other gear are generally more expensive than a jump rope, so these were pretty nice gifts to give the community.

  8. Who knows what else they got. It’s a more or less a 5 minute scene. I’m sure the kids are all happy and satisfied with what they got.
