Joe Anglim was voted off Survivor this week during his Second Chance run after his body gave in to the challenges it faced. Now on his way to Ponderosa Joe steps back to reflect on his season and what he’ll remember most.
Having lost 22 pounds during his time on the Survivor beach he’s ready to get to the dining hall and join his fellow Jury members. On the way as Joe discusses his challenge pass-out, he’s obviously frustrated that he didn’t earn a pass from the other castaways for showing he’d push himself beyond his physical limits. Of course that’s the very reason some of them wanted him out.
Arriving at Ponderosa Joe is excited to be greeted warmly and is soon over the disappointment and on to having fun with painting and capturing moments with the other castaways relaxing at Ponderosa. Check out the pics below.

I love you Joe! It makes me sick how incredibly HARD you worked, just to be kicked out because of that hard work. But, such is life. You’ll always be a hero in my book. And your gorgeous hair will be like visions of sugarplums dancing in my head. ;) Now, go get cast on TAR and kick A**!!!
Sadly there is truth to the saying “nice guys finish last”. I’d love to see him on TAR.
Joe gave everything he had for this competition. The only one left who is a true competitor and not a lazy whiner is Keith. And I have a bad feeling the target is now on his back.
After he passed out, hearing him say how he love this game so much and wanted to win so bad, and the scene with his dad..I know his fan base went up the ceiling. Just a good guy and a great competitor….I wanna see him back in future Survivor.
I agree. The men are in trouble know but will be even more-so if they don’t smarten up and get rid of the gals now.
He is a very well raised young man and he deserves nothing but happiness and success.

survivor is one of my favorite shows and i like how it is done, however i have always hated that good players get cut as soon as they lose immunity. i would love to see a season where all the most winning players are on it and they duke it out and the loser of the immunity challenge is voted out until they work their way down to a winner.
Joe deserved to win….won’t watch another episode. Sucks because the best players always get voted off. Spoiled the show for me.
Becky, I know how you feel…I think I do anyway. But please don’t give up yet. If Keith gets kicked out next week (he’s one tough competitor) THEN you can leave! lol! Seriously though, stay for just a little while longer. And if those mean, nasty, self-absorbed bratty girls do something else incredibly stupid and selfish, I know a whole lot of ladies here who have torches and pitchforks ready to go give ’em what for!!
Keith is a competitive and will be around for awhile.

of Abi and the rest of the women I hope that the rest of the guys
realize what the women are planning to do vote each one of them off.
Keith is good at “holding still” comps. he didn’t opt out of last challenge and won this one against weak joe. he is a good competitor and no quitter. spencer has won against healthy joe and has come in 2nd in many physical comps. figured if I typed this out it would send favor to Keith and they will vote spencer next.
did u watch TAR last night?? wow. what a jerk face punk he is. I can hardly believe that they survived the penalty.
Totally agree, Talula. And by typing it out will send positivity to the cosmos! Spencer is really good and with Joe gone he may start dominating comps. And hopefully, because Spencer is strong, those mean girls will vote him out next (see? Now I’m sending out positive thoughts to the cosmos!).

I’m in Michigan now, but spent about 18 years in NC. That’s where I worked…theatre; commercials; print work (ugh); and I had a really, really successful children’s theatre. I wrote the scripts and my partner wrote the songs. But now I’m freezing in MI. How about you? Oh, I still haven’t heard from Cuddles…but like I’ve said, even though she had a laparoscopic, rather than open surgery, she probably won’t be up and about for a while. She’ll let us know as soon as she gets to her desk top computer! I have a feeling that’s going to be her motivation to get better—so she can get back to all of her friends!

I think you’re talking about the Green Team – if so, I am sooooo over his crying when things aren’t going right; I mean pouring-down-the-face- tears like his momma just died! Holy crappers – really? What a jerk: but when he’s happy he calls everybody ‘amigo’, and if there is a slight hitch in their journrey, he gets nasty with his girlfriend. I can’t believe they beat that penalty by nearly seconds! Ugh!
I think Joe is truly a genuine NICE guy … now I say that as both a person who can see another person is truly nice and as a (former) young woman who realized that the only kind of man that should be in your life is a nice guy. And nice guys are rare … He’s so true blue; I’m so glad his dad said that Joe is his BF – that will support a lot of good growth for their ongoing relationship. Loved his story about his dad’s background, drawing, doing some yoga stretches, the Go camera and showing us how he loves life – it was invigorating.
But someone tell me, why were the Ponderosa residents saying they were glad it was Joe (upon his arrival) and not Abi? Huh? Are they saying they’re going to vote for that piece of work if she’s in th F3?

I would have thought everyone would have watched it by know as well Margaret so a big OOPS from me as well.
Keith has really turned himself around this season – but then again, I always thought he was smarter (or more common sensical than his son in his first season.) Keith really is an honorable guy – someone mentioned he didn’t vote for Joe and I agree with that Commenter that he did it out of respect for Joe! Remember last week when they did the stone pick – give up immunity and eat or go for the challenge; it was Joe and Keith. If Keith hadn’t made that choice, Joe would have gotten immunity by default, however Keith said: I’m here to play – and that also says he knows how invaluable immunity is – no one’s standing is to be taken for granted in this game. So I say: You Go Keith – kick some alligator butt! Or opossum butt or whatever it is you hunt. ?
I think as women we can see he is a jerk! But I just SMH and say: there’s someone for everyone. I can only imagine (but won’t put the effort into it) what a nightmare their wedding plans / pre-wedding activities will be! I remember how nasty he was in week 2 or 3 (?), and she insisted on going on foot to their challenge; they went miles, crossed a bridge, etc. but in the end they had to do some math calculation based on their Fitbit or something and they won – something like that. But he carped at her the whole episode! I’m in a happy relationship and hope you are to – so, I guess all I can do is wish this woman the best! (Why don’t I feel joyful about that in my heart? Oh well!)
Can’t wait for tomorrow’s Survivor episode – hope Tasha is not cramping in the water – but if she’s in distress and loses her chance at immunity, then I guess it’s no different than Joe losing cause he passed out!
