Survivor 2017: Ratings Hold Steady In Week 2

Survivor may have dropped ratings in its year to year season premiere, but the series held strong this week with the second episode of Game Changers.

Fans held on this week as Survivor 2017 managed to keep its place with viewers and the key demo to win the night as we said goodbye to the return of Beast Mode.

CBS won Wednesday night for 8PM with Survivor as it drew 7.76 million viewers and a 1.7 rating in the 18-49 category. That’s a match up to last week’s premiere with the same rating and up about 0.15M viewers. Not bad at all.

Survivor was up against a clip show version of The Voice so we’ll have to see how it handles things next week when that slot goes to Blindspot. Probst and company should do even better. The Goldbergs (ABC) and Lethal Weapon (FOX) were next in the ranks with 5.4M and 5.8M viewers, so Survivor performed very well there against them.

So what do you think of the Survivor 2017 season so far? Are we on track for a great season or could things start to dip as we go thanks to returning Vets instead of new players?
