Watching Alec’s Ponderosa video (below), it kind of bums me out that he went on to mess up after the season by sharing information on social media, which got him banned from the Survivor David vs. Goliath finale. I’m bummed because he seems like a good dude who loves the game. And as we wall saw, he played a great game and went out swinging.
“I played hard,” Alec says addressing his elimination. “I gave my pitch. People wanted to go another direction. I’m glad I was able to just play like myself. I didn’t have to do anything different. I just played like Alec.”
He also seems to have a lot of integrity for someone who kind of blew it post-filming with his social media shenanigans.
“I’m happy for the reasons of why I went out,” he says. “I was more of a threat than I thought I was. Now it’s time to chill and reflect and realize that even though I didn’t make it farther than I would have liked to I still won in other ways.”
He doesn’t get into the other ways he won, but he does give us an insight into his music and how that drives him and pushes him. He also gives us a bit of a song at the end of the video, and he has a really nice voice. I’m actually into it, so I plan to see if he has music anywhere online. Again, totally bummed we won’t be seeing him at the finale.
