Survivor 2018: Ponderosa — Chelsea Townsend [VIDEO]

Chelsea Townsend became the 13th castaway voted off Survivor 2018 Wednesday night and the sixth member of the jury.

After he torch was snuffed, she headed off to Ponderosa where she was able to shower, eat some real food and begin the decompressing process that always starts with reflecting back on the Survivor game she just left.

“I didn’t work out for me but I’m so happy about the way that I went out of this game like really just fighting and trying to make a big move,” Chelsea says in her Ponderosa video below. “I wanted to play hard. So I think when I won back to back that put a huge target on my back and I lost some key alliances that ended up flipping on me in the end because they saw me as too much of a threat for their million bucks.”

In her Ponderosa video below, Chelsea takes part in all the usual Survivor rituals after getting voted out. She gets weighed, she sees herself in the mirror for the first time in a long time, she eats a lot, she showers and finally gets to sleep in a real bed again.

And like most castaways who show up at Ponderosa, Chelsea gets to do something unique for her video. You know, Chris made a rap video, Libby cooked dinner, Michael and Jenna made a perfume commercial. Chelsea gets to arrange a game night. Ha. She just can’t cut a break with Survivor. Not only did she get almost no airtime all season, she doesn’t even get to do anything fun for her video. Seriously, what producer did she piss off?

I’m starting to think Chelsea played a lot more of the game than the edit let us see, though, because she seems to think very highly of her game.

“It’s really cool to think that this whole journey … what I went through … I’m going to be able to relive it and just think back and really have those memories,” she says. What an incredible journey and a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Look at what this wild child did out here.”
