Now that we’ve seen the Survivor 41 players in action for two episodes, we can kick off our Survivor 2021 Power Rankings posts.
Last week, it was just too early. I don’t like jumping the gun with pre-season assessments when it comes to Survivor. With Big Brother, you can tell a little more, but even then I’m usually wrong, so I wanted to wait at least a week.
And keep in mind, it’s still not going to be easy to rank 15 castaways, so for this first one, I’m going to focus on the Top 5 then suggest where the other 10 fall in tiers. So let’s get to it.
1. Evvie. I’m putting Evvie first despite how awful their tribe has been performing. But that’s also one of the reasons why I think they deserve the first spot. They survived two tribals already, because of their social game and the relationships they’re already forming. And everyone trusts Evvie. And there’s a lot of strategy going on there too. So far, impressed.
2. Shan. The fact that she’s clearly running the Ua tribe makes her a contender this season. It seems like everyone on her tribe wants to work with her, and people are already suggesting she’s getting a winner’s edit. It might be too early for that, but she’s definitely getting a bit of a mastermind edit.
3. Liana. Right now no one is looking at Liana, and that’s a good thing for her long game. And the fact that she has teamed up with Evvie also bodes well. When people eventually catch on to Evvie being a threat, Liana has a shield. And Liana is also shaping up to be a good strategist.
4. Sydney. It’s looking like fans aren’t loving Sydney, but she’s definitely been an asset to her tribe. I’ve seen mention of her getting a bit of a winner’s edit too.
5. Tiffany. Tiffany would have annoyed me this week if I shared an Island with her, but she knew she was a target and she went to work! Getting that target off her back and onto Voce was pretty impressive, even if Evvie played the bigger role.
