This week’s Blood Vs Water episode, “We’re A Hot Mess” looks ready to shift the attention from the win-starved Coyopa tribe over to Hunahpu who appears to be considering throwing a challenge to off one of their own members. That always works out great, right? Heh.

Tonight’s Survivor picks up as Coyopa returns from Tribal Council where John Rocker was blindsided and eliminated while holding on to his Immunity Idol. A few of those tribe members are a little surprised too to find out the guys’ alliance didn’t hold strong and target the ladies.

Over at Hunahpu they find their previously lost flint. Oops. Now Drew wants to take charge and go back to Jeff for a new round of bartering. Drew explains that without him his tribe would be nothing. Yeah.

Exile Island Challenge:

Before things kick off Drew tries to get Jeff to let them trade the flint back but Jeff shuts that down quickly. Missy and Wes RPS for the advantage and Hunahpu wins. They pick Jon who will go up against Jaclyn.

After a short lead by Jaclyn, Jon catches up and is soon launching balls through the catapults. Jon is doing very well and is down to just one ball and basket left.

Jaclyn catches up and they’re tried. One center, narrow basket left to go. The winner will get the prize and avoid Exile. That goes to Jon who is now sending Jaclyn off to Exile. He chooses Drew who volunteers to head out there with her.

Exile Island:

Drew and Jaclyn arrive at Exile. They split the urns and Drew gets the clue but shares it with her. Drew next tells Jaclyn he wants to throw the Immunity Challenge because he wants to eliminate girls from his tribe. Yeah…

Hidden Immunity Idol:

Keith goes looking for the Idol from his clue but can’t find it. He goes back and tells Hunahpu that Jeremy must have it. Reed soon runs that news back to Jeremy who now wants Keith gone.

A bit later Keith goes to take a second look and well wait a second, there it is. Keith pockets the Idol and decides not to tell anyone that he’s found it as to not draw a target on his back. Hmm, might be too late for that.

Immunity Challenge:

Drew and Jaclyn return to their tribes and Drew still needs to decide if he’ll try to throw the challenge.

Castaways will have six players on each tribe. Hunahpu sits out Kelley, Jon, and Jeremy. The remaining players will send four out to retrieve rings. Last two players on each team will throw rings at a floating post. First team to finish wins Immunity.

Missy and Baylor pair up first with a slight lead to Baylor. Reed overtakes Jaclyn’s lead in the second round. Alec and Natalie are very close but Alec does manage to catch up and take a lead for Coyopa. Last round has Wes versus Keith with Wes maintaining the lead for Coyopa.

Dale and Josh are tossing for Coyopa with Drew and Julie for Hunahpu. Coyopa has a nice lead of 3-1. Jeff calls out Drew as “single-handedly losing” the competition. Sure enough, Coyopa gets their first win. Someone from Hunahpu is about to be voted out.

Back at the Hunahpu tribe they have to decide who is the target. Jon wants Julie gone because he doesn’t trust having singles in the game come Merge time. Drew disagrees and wants Kelley gone. Jeremy is set on Keith gone and he’s not happy about Drew’s attitude.

Natalie starts pushing for Drew to be the next target. Meanwhile Drew is still out there pushing for Kelley to be the one to go and she’s well aware of it. This should be fun.

Tribal Council:

Jeff is happy to be talking with a new set of castaways. Jeremy jumps right in to his concerns over Keith telling the tribe that Jeremy has the Idol.

Drew’s plans to target a girl is exposed and even Jeff laughs at the idea that the outnumbered girls are going to get out a guy at that night’s vote.

Jeff prepares to reveal the votes: Julie, Kelley, Drew, Keith, Julie, Drew, Drew, and Drew. Hah! The ladies stuck together they won the vote.

Drew was voted off Survivor tonight.
