Last night on Survivor 2015 another castaway was sent home as the Bayon and Ta Keo tribes competed for safety in a bid to make it to the upcoming shuffle and beyond for their Second Chance season.

Ta Keo was looking for redemption, but will their choice to cut Vytas and keep Abi-Maria help their chances during tonight’s show?

We’re promised a “heartfelt apology” from one castaway in a bid to avoid elimination so something must be about to go down and that should be good as CBS says to get ready for an “intense” tribal council. Sounds promising.

Following the first tribal that saw the end of Vytas, we’ve got those remaining on Ta Keo figuring out who should go next while Kelley checks out the idol she found during the challenge and secures it in its new hiding spot. And it looks like Varner is positioning himself to play both sides. Will that work out for him or will he be figured out?

Meanwhile, we’ve got Bayon bonding, getting sappy and some even brought to tears after Savage tells a story about his wife. And then there’s Stephen. His tribe isn’t too keen on how he’s playing the game already and he continues to be on everyone’s radar, it seems.

But at least Bayon is trying. Back over at Ta Keo, there’s Abi-Maria stirring up trouble and slowing edging toward the very bottom of the tribe (or going into let’s-carry-her-to-the-end territory).

Immunity Challenge:

Tribes will race across a series of a-frames while carrying rope. They’ll use that rope to pull crates containing puzzle pieces. And then the puzzles will have to be completed. They’re also playing for reward, which is a Survivor tool kit.

Bayon takes the early lead. So it starts to look like all the Ta Keo footage we’ve seen might mean what we were all thinking — that they will again lose and face tribal council. And Ta Keo finishes! But wait, it’s not right! Then Bayon finishes and it is right! So yes, the editing was correct. Ta Keo loses and will again have to vote someone out.

Tribal Council:

It’s looking like Spencer and Shirin have ended up at the bottom, despite them sitting in great spots during the last Tribal. Shirin and Spencer are completely defeated and know one of them will be going home. And Varner confirms it will be one of them. But which one? We’ll soon find out. It’s time to vote!

By a vote of 5-4, Shirin Oskooi was the second person voted off Survivor Second Chance.

  1. Decisions, decisions…I don’t like one team to dominate this early, but damn, have to start the mood stabilizers early to endure Shirin..I cringe just watching her in the promos. Maybe she could hurt herself, nothing serious, meet an alligator or something…sorry, sorry I won’t go there…yet. Girls kept her bc they worry about getting picked off by the guys I guess…

  291. Yes I was fortunate. We were very close. Also with my Mom too. But it was my Dad that spoiled me. Lol. After my Dad died I took care of my Mom for 4yrs. It’s why I retired early. And I don’t regret that decision for one minute. I got to spend a lot of quality time with her. But they’re still in my heart. ?

  294. Sounds wonderful Lav, so sweet. Are you an only child/daughter? Mine too are deeply embedded in my heart. When I need to see and hear them, I have VHS tapes of them reminiscing, their 50th wedding anniversary celebration, and lots more. I sit and cry and/or laugh ~ we have wonderful visits.

  307. I found that graphic years ago and filed it in my online pic folder because it really ‘talked’ to me. My Dad had a motor cycle from about age 18 to about 85. And my Mom hung on for dear life sitting behind him going to road rallies, etc.

  320. Damn! Shirin is gone already, but she and Spencer brought this on themselves by aligning with that “albatross”, Abi – Maria. Jeff is the poison that will ruin Ta Keo from the inside out. I’m disappointed with Peih – Gee’s “go with the flow” mindset leaving Jeremy my only favorite player this season.   321. Haha I loved playing sports and used to go to all the football and hockey games with my Dad but yeah I was a princess. When I was growing up I even had the princess bedroom with a canopy bed. Wow you are really making me go back to some great times.

  322. Oh you are right! I didn’t even think of that, but unless she gets the same camp (and maybe no one will get any camp), she’s lost it!

  325. They played too hard too fast and freaked out the other members. The only thing helping Spencer is the merge into 3 times – maybe he will back off a little. Probably not though, hopefully he will be next to go.

  327. All the others were working on a social game. Spencer and Shirin jumped right in with the hard scheming really did it to themselves..

  328. Maybe I’ll get lucky… Jeremy, Andrew and Joe all on the same tribe. Then all the edits on them – would make for a great night of eye candy :)

  331. Agree. I thought it was gutsy for them to go to Woo & ask for his support; and the “WTF” look on his face when they asked! He’s playing a great straightforward game by just saying – no, you haven’t even talked to me til now! Also pleased that Abi was straight up with Shirin about not giving Shirin any “love” either because Shirin literally shunned her & laughed at her the nite before with everyone else except Terry. I’m glad everyone is shooting from the hip; like Spencer said at TC in response to a Jeff comment; no need to say things in code – it’ me or Shirin being voted (off) tonite … Paraphrased.

  332. I like Spencer but, it was too early to make the big moves like boot out Vytas. Terry took him in and he is atleast, loyal and so is Wu. He showed the others that he cannot be trusted by flipping so early. Dumb move. Good that Shirin got voted out who was playing so strong right from the get go! Never liked her and never voted for her to be in Second Chance. You got to chill and observe who is allied with who before making any dumb moves.

  333. Looks like “Old School” is doing pretty well; Jeff V & Terry are like no nonsense. Seems Jeff kinda named the evictees because of their (Shirin/Spencer) hard play. Terry sees Spencer as a Strong comp player & that’s a threat. Jeff sees them both as threats and really did a good job talking to the others to identify them as evictee targets.

  336. I was a certified tomboy and certainly not a princess. Baseball and climbing trees were my favs. Canopy bed? WoW!! I slept in a double bed with my older sis until she married in 1962! It’s great reminiscing ~ it’s heartwarming remembering the good times (as opposed to the bad times) ~ thanx for sharing Princess!

  339. WOWSER: Just watched a video (posted 9/30) on EW. If Bayon had found their clue near their camp, there was a hidden immunity idol at the top edge of one of the triangles they had to climb at the challenge! Did ne1 see the idol being retrieved?? I’m sure we’ll find out next Wednesday.
