Tribes have merged and the jury has begun to build as we got ready to find out who was voted off Survivor last night from the new Orkun tribe.

With Bayon and Ta Keo under one tarp the race was on to secure a majority and not end up the target, something Kass couldn’t pull off. Now we’ll see who secures their safety and which team wins a trip to the Survivor Cafe during this week’s show.

There was a push tonight to see which castaway became the next big target and if it was Stephen pushing the effort then we might want to expect Joe coming under fire. Will enough of the tribe come to his defense, could immunity save him, or will Joe be the second player to head to Ponderosa?

Settle in for a revival reward challenge and a familiar immunity challenge as well as the remaining castaways battle it out for the million dollars on Survivor Second Chance.

Reward Challenge:
Two teams selected by schoolyard pick style. Team 1: Kimmi, Kelly, Kelley, Joe, Ciera, and Keith. Team 2: Tasha, Savage, Spencer, Jeremy, Stephen, and Abi. They’ll race out in to the water, paddle out a distance, then swing back and pick up crates along the way. Back on the beach they’ll stack them in a way that doesn’t repeat a color.

Out in the water we see Joe’s team knock the other team off course and then take a small lead. These are heavy crates and it won’t be easy to stack them. Joe & co has a nice lead back at the beach and they ride that to a victory and then off to the Survivor Cafe.

Immunity Challenge:
Players must hold a rope in each hand to balance a platter with a ball in the middle of it. Last castaway standing wins.

Kelley immediately drops her ball with Ciera right behind her. Kelly goes next with Jeremy just behind her. They’re dropping fast as Abi then Stephen. There goes Savage who flips the bird in frustration.

After 10 minutes we’ve got just four left before Kimmi and Tasha drop out. That leaves Joe, Spencer, and Keith who actually won this challenge the first and only time it’s been played before.

Final 2 are Joe and Keith. Crazy how hard this looks. They’re in for 30 minutes now as production has added a second ball. There’s no more moving around or balls added as it’s now just a waiting game… Oh my. That was intense! Just when Joe looks like he’ll drop out it’s Keith who loses a ball.

Joe wins immunity and won’t be going anywhere tonight. So who will go? Joe says he wants that to be Stephen, but doesn’t look like it’ll be that easy.

Tribal Council:
Jeff reveals the votes… *wait!* Kelley plays her Immunity Idol.

  201. Wow, what a show tonight, it was awesome!!! I’m not happy at all to see Savage go and Wentworth was smart to play her idol or she’d be gone. She really didn’t want to have to play it (understandable) and I could see she was hesitant but I’m sure she’s dang happy she did. At least it got everyone moving and finally looking for an idol from the looks of the preview for next week. I’d love to see Ciera go next, I don’t like her at all and then Fishbach. What ever happened to good sportsmanship? Everyone’s giving everyone the finger. Guess I’m old school, I don’t like that at all.

    And then Savage, how old are these ppl. Obviously immature to do that on TV. And CIara’s eye rolling is getting a bit old too.

  215. Why were they targeting Kelly Wentworth in the first place? It was Steve and Ciera stirring the pot. Huge mental error on the majority alliance not to split the votes this time out. If they split it between Ciera and Kelly, Ciera would have been evicted. Atleast, Kelly was smart enough to use her idol. Too bad for Savage. He was probably shell shocked over this eviction.

  216. That was probably the best, most intense tribal I’ve ever seen. If they’d only split the votes between Ciera and Kelley, this wouldn’t have happened. But I’m absolutely thrilled Savage is gone. He just can’t handle the fact that he’s not the only one playing to win, which is super annoying to watch. Good riddance.

  220. Completely agree about how it turned around as the majority targeting Kelly … There is probably a ton of convos on the editing room floor when everyone decided on Kelly! But something went down in camp to make Kelly ‘instinctively’ know to use her idol? I mean, she could have used and wasted her idol last week. And the 3 girls voting out Savage – they HAD to have discussed this at camp! I was totally shell-shocked, pleased, dazed, and surprised about Savage’s eviction – made for a great epi! But agree with everyone that shooting the finger is such poor sportsmanship not to mention that those who do this will (should) be embarrassed in the future when they see their school yard antics recorded for all eternity!

  221. Yep, the Ciera eye-rolling made me crazy; another school yard antic ranking right up there with giving the finger! I thought the same thing as Mary; I really wanted Ciera’s eyeballs to get stuck up in her head … What a nasty little turd! Well we can have peace of mind that Kass and Savage can now sit across from each other at the Ponderosa dinner table and give each other the finger! Ha! Unfortunately, these demonstrations of poor sportsmanship may be indicators that we are going to have a VERY bitter jury!

  222. Admittedly, I would be horrified going back to camp knowing 3/4s of my tribe voted against me … but she does get one more “week” (several days) and you know anything can happen. I mean, look how fast the tribe went from agreeing to vote out Spencer 100% and the next thing ya know, bye bye Jeff V (thanks to Kass turning things around.) Kelly will need to stay on her toes and find a crack in the armor to deflect her current position … But don’t know if she has that kind of gameplay in her (like Tasha).

  223. I thought someone told me a couple weeks ago Keith found an idol In a bunch of leaves? Don’t remember that cuz I thought maybe Survivor this season was going to give them clues to find an idol – the way Kelly and Jeremy did. (My theory was the clues – not the idol – were set up to be found to keep the players from just doing a Russel Hantz hunt and finding it.) BTW: Hope Jeremy keeps his mouth shut that he has an idol.

I think ciera is the one that is overly annoying with her talk of “nobody is playing the game” No they are playing their game and you are just crying, pouting and rolling your eyes because nobody is playing your game. I for one am sad that Savage went…there were a handful of people that I would prefer to go before him.

  228. I am getting so annoyed at Survivor these days. They say Outwit, Outlast, and Outlive (or something like that) – but really it isnt how well you can Outlast – it is how much you can lie and manipulate. Joe who is a great survivor guy is always a target because fishback who is nothing but a whinney sniveler cannot win a challenge needs to put a target on someone who is stronger than him so that fishback can get ahead. Im sorry – that is not surviving that is cut throat – so the weakest players get ahead and the stronger ones get voted out. To me it should not be called survivor but it should be called Backstabber. I do love this show but I am constantly getting annoyed when my players (Woo – who yes got voted out and Joe – who has to win all the immunities from this day forward) in order to stay in the “game” keep getting thought of voted out of the game because they are Strong, and Smart and can WIN Challenges. Hmmmmmmm and all the ones who want them out are weak and whiners and useless. Okay my rant for the week. LOL

Nobody knows that, except Kelley….Joe is aware that he has the biggest target since day one..he’s just trying to survive.

Well not me – I guess thats why I would not do well in survivor – I would rather see the strong win who actually could survive by winning and building than the weak who have to rely on being a snake by cutting the strong to get ahead. I would of cut fishback long ago and Abi as well. I would rather see at the end the strongest and smartest / not the weak and the snakes. Actual survivors. Yes when you get down to the strongest / smartest 5 then yes they will have to conieve and backstab but that would be the strong and smart against the strong and smart and actually battling to be in the top – not backstabbing because you cant win a challenge or start a fire or fish and survive

Here’s an idea, the should change it up a little and have comps that eliminate those that couldn’t survive where the are…for example: they all have to build a fire from scratch and the bottom 2 would be voted on to see who goes…then could could have a comp where the have to find food (fish, or fruit etc) and same vote system….you get the idea.
    That would make more of real survivor than who’s popular or can backstab the best etc.
    Just my thoughts.

  237. I HATED the fact that Savage was evicted. In my humble opinion, if I was playing the game, I definitely play as if I was the only one playing to win. Why else would you go on the show? To play to lose…or come in second place? Nope, like I was the ONLY one playing to win. Again, JMHO. But I totally agree with you, that was a fabulous Tribal! As much as I hated seeing Savage go—it was an amazingly jaw-dropping blindside!

  249. I answered another poster about who has the 3 idols. I was mistaken about Keith finding the idol in a small pile of leaves in the top of a small tree. That’s where he found the clue to the idol. The idol was hidden at one of first three challenges ~ as were the other two that Kelley and Jeremy found. At that time, each of the 3 tribes had an idol. Hope that clarifies ~

Yeah, outwitting, outlasting and outplaying IS backstabbing, and blindsiding and lieing … And so where have you been the last 31 seasons! Of course we love Joe, and we loved Rueben, and Ozzie, and Woo, and Terry Weston (the. 2nd time) and so on … It’s NOT the weakest players … It’s the butt heads who get to the final 2 or 3 and that’s the way it is!

  267. Wore black today in honor of Savage. Knew something was up when he promised never to write Joe’s name down, and Joe was silent. Now that 1/2 show is devoted to Tribal with Jeff Probing strategies and divisions, voting gets changed up on the fly. That’s probably what happened to Wentworth who almost outed Fishbach as the control freak “decider”. I agree with everyone, and hate to see mean kids rule. Used to be strong players would form an alliance to protect themselves, sometimes that would lead to guys v. girls. Kass blew it by targeting Tasha for non-strategic reasons, now everyone is afraid to talk, even Joe from protecting Savage. Gotta watch for signals at Tribal next week!

  272. Obviously there’s a lot the producers don’t show us. At some point, the majority decided to vote out Wentworth (which we didn’t see) and Wentworth knew, or suspected (again, we didn’t see what triggered her suspicions).

  275. I’m sorry but that just seems extremely arogant to me. You can’t play a game and expect others not to want to win too. His attitude was like “How DARE they strategize and plan to make a movie! That’s DISGUSTING!” But if he’s the one strategizing, it’s totally fair and acceptable. I assure you, a lot of people think the same way about him.   284. I had a Siberian Husky! What brilliant minds they have. Just beautiful…I imagine the mix with the Samoyed must have made a gorgeous, intelligent animal! Yeah, can’t watch the docs anymore either. Too sad. What’s even sadder though, are the people who don’t believe global warming is real. I don’t get people…which is why I always have animals. :) Thx about my pic…I love it because mom told him to put his arm around me…you can’t see it here, but he didn’t put his arm around me, he just plopped it on my shoulder.

  289. So much in common, about animals & politics! You know my husky! She talks constantly, sings with me to the radio in the car and thinks she’s a person. I rescued all kinds of doggies on a ranch in Cali til I couldn’t give them up for adoption anymore-talk about mourning. I cry when I look at their pictures, I’m horrible foster mom i have to keep them all. My favorite pic of me and my sister is on my lap in our kiddie rocking chair-I’m 2 she’s just born & it looks like I’ve got her in a headlock while she’s sliding off. I’ve spent a lifetime explaining I wasn’t choking her by the neck, just helping her stay on while we said cheese.

I had a black cat ( showed up at our door on Halloween!), and in every picture (I was 4) I looked like I was choking her, too! I was trying to turn her head toward the camera! lol. So sorry you cry when you look at the pics. But, I totally get it. :( It takes a VERY special person to foster pups and kittens–I certainly couldn’t do it. I couldn’t stand her in her original season and was trying to give her the benefit of doubt that just maybe she had matured a little bit…but NO she is still a childish little spoiled brat that pouts when things don’t go her way! I hope the 3 little girls enjoyed that blindside and celebration; because I for one hope that it will be their last celebration and they all get picked off one by one and then can go roll their eyes on Jury :-)

  305. Love the TWD “eaten alive” analogy but so true! If Joe doesn’t continue to win, he may be an easy vote out – if he continues to win, the target on his back just gets bigger and bigger! Doesn’t anyone feel or sense Fishback’s sleaziness or sneakiness; in a social game, I would think that’s more dangerous (at this point) than a strong player. If this is 2nd chance, are these players blind to Stephen’s backstabbing? Well, maybe not; they know he’s a rat but a weak player and they’ll take him out later. However, ever challenge is NOT about strength and he might end up in the right position at the right time. Aargh!

It’s those jerks who abuse their scripts that make it hard for people who REALLY need it–like me..I have chronic pain. Thank you for your kind words. I see a Neurologist next week, so hopefully, if the diagnosis is what he’s suspecting, I may not need narcotic pain killers. But, again, thank you for your advice and kindness!

  317. Wholeheartedly in agreement. This feels like the stupid past season of Big Brother with the constant flipping. Fishback would have been eliminated had it not been for Jeremy flipping the votes. Now he has lost a potential shield early. He’ll probably be forced to play that idol next week, which will serve him right for flipping that vote thereby eliminating savage but or ciera should be eliminated next.
