Nuku takes a massive lead in this week’s Survivor 2017 Immunity Challenge and has all three bags from the buckets first. They run on to the next stage of the challenge with the maze puzzle. Before too long they’re all playing the puzzle which has a good rule. Tribes must get 3 balls to the certain spots, but one castaway can’t do them all. No “hero” players here. I like that rule.

Tavua catches up on Nuku as Varner and Andrea are fighting for the win here on the last ball while Mana is way behind. This is a nail bitter! Varner is right there and so is Andrea just behind him… Oh no! Varner’s ball drops out and it’s Andrea’s to win. She does and the victory goes to Tavua!

Tavua wins Immunity!

Hidden Immunity Idol:

Back at the Mana camp Tai finds a clue to an Idol and quickly digs it up. Back at the Mana camp he announces his find and passes it around the group. Brad points out that if one of their four (him, Tai, Debbie, or Sierra) is being targeted then it needs to be played to save them as a group. This could tilt the balance against Nuku as only Mana appears to hold an Idol. We’ll have to see if they play this card the right way.

Tribal Council – Survivor 2017 Week 3:

CBS has promised this will be a “jaw-dropping event” in the show so buckle up! Jeff explained that both of the losing tribes will attend Tribal Council, but… only ONE castaway will be voted out between them. Oh my, oh my. This is going to be a good TC!

This is amazing. JT goes across to warn Brad his (JT’s) tribe is coming after him. Hali in turns goes back to the other tribe and tells them about her tribe’s target. This is crazy! Everyone is trying to jump between groups to figure out what to do. Don’t forget about Tai’s Idol which could block this whole thing. Sooo good this week!

Jeff reveals the votes: Sierra, Sierra, Sierra, Sierra, Sierra, Sierra, Malcolm, Malcolm, Malcolm.

Malcolm Freberg was voted off Survivor!

In his send off clip we see Malcolm with red eyes and tears as he’s shocked by the results. Definitely took him by surprise. I know that got me too!

  127. Jeff passed out from the heat, but Debbie revived him and took over hosting duties. Not that she stopped competing in the challenge though. Debbie did both hosting and competing. She won, naturally, and as the new host crowned herself the Sole Survivor of Game Changers. The season just ended!

  257. Survivor was a total downer this evening. Not sure I want to watch it any more and I never miss an episode. CBS you totally let your audience down with this one. Shame on you. Malcolm was the show. Totally disappointed. You need to bring him back; otherwise the show is not worth watching.

  269. Queen Sandra should have been voted off at this point in time because she wouldn’t be able to be on the jury and create all sorts of queenie havoc there. Why Survivor keeps recycling winners I don’t understand. I am on the verge of turning this show off. The goat incident was difficult to watch, by the way so are the chicken killings. Survivors are out there for a bit over a month, surely they understand they would be hungry. If they can’t deal with it, they should not be invited. No reason to go so primitive.

  276. I couldn’t stand her when she first came on Pearl Islands. She loved to argue with everyone and thought she was always right. She’s also very sneaky and a huge liar. She did NOT deserve to win once, let alone twice. Sandra should’ve been the first one voted off. By the way, I’m not watching this season because Sandra is on the show. I’m only reading the recaps of what happens each week.

  278. I totally agree about her should have been the first one voted off. Why can’t people see this? At last TC, she said, “I know I’m not the one going home tonight …” (which everyone heard). That would have been a perfect blindside.
